Senior subsea control system engineer:

Internationally established and recognized company in the Norwegian Oil-& Gas Industry, is looking fo

r Subsea Control System Engineers. Our clients main office is located in Stavanger, Bergen and

Trondheim, Norway and full time assignment is required.

 

POSITION PROFILE: Ensure operational intergrity and advising on equipment standardization.

Ensure technical support to operation departments and projects.

Ensure that governing documents, standards and codes are followed during

projects, operating and maintenance activities.

Together with operation assure that all parts of the system are operated and

maintained according to supplier recommendation and governing documents.

Assure that all parts of the work are being performed with high focus  on HSE to

avoid personnel injuries and damage to material and environment.

QUALIFICATION: Minimum Bachelor of Science within Engineering or equivalent

(Cybernetics/Automation, Electrical). Relevant experience can replace lack of formal

education

7 years floating drilling rig and subsea completion experience.

Technical knowledge of subsea production control systems IT Hardware

Architecture (Generic)

Engineering knowledge in the specialist activity.

Support and technologies: Technical requirement and standards.

Compliance: Local/national and international standard codes, tender procedure.

Plant design: Process/utility/electrical control and safety system design.

Construction and installation: Plant construction, control system knowledge,

inspection, control and testing techniques.

Production system design: Life cycle design

Norwegian and English, verbal and written.
