Meet Wayne Hill�

Hello my name is Wayne Hill. I was born at home on �

January 23, 1927 ,during one of Wheeling, WV.’s floods. �

My doctor said, “he came in by street and left by boat”.�

I grew up in Wheeling along with 3 siblings, I was the �

baby of the family. Now, I am the only one remaining. �

When I was young my brother and I went on a blind date. �

I really liked his date and decided to marry her. Betty Jane �

and I didn`t have any children, but we did have a beautiful life.

In World War�II, I was in aviation weaponry,�

which means I handled the guns of the airplanes. �

For many years I worked at Reichart’s Furniture, �

in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Now at 93 I live at The Carnes �

Apartments in Bellaire. I love picking on our center director at

the Bellaire Senior Center. I have been a member here for 3

years. I love all kind of sports. My greatest asset is my ability to

drive and move around . I have been very blessed with my life.
