AUDITION TOUR

Registration begins 30 mins prior to start time, except at starred (*) auditions, where registration begins one hour prior to start time.Audition is conducted without cuts. Company audition locations will be attended by FBP Artistic Director. All auditioners should bring headshot, resume, and photo in first arabesque. Audition fee: $20. Pre-register at www.festivalballetprovidence.org for $15.Admission to SDI 2015 is by invitation only. Audition results will be communicated via e-mail within 2 weeks of audition.

year-round FBP faculty, current Company Dancers, and national and international

guest teachers.We provide students with a diverse curriculum,

professional training and enriching field trips to enhance their education.

July 6 - August 1, 2015Ages 13 - Pre-professionalSDI Senior Intensive is for serious pre-professional ballet students looking to develop their technique in a comprehensive 4-week training program. Class sizes are limited to ensure individual attention. Students receive sought-after stage experience at Providence’s acclaimed WaterFire festival. Trainees for the FBP 2015-2016 season are chosen exclusively from SDI 2015.

August 3 - August 14, 2015Ages 9 - 13This program is for serious ballet students with a minimum of 2 years of training. The 2-week program is designed for students who wish to develop a stronger base in an artistically supportive environment.

ROOM & BOARDSENIOR PROGRAM - Students reside on the campus of Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in historic College Hill. Room occupancy, meals, and transportation between RISD and FBP are provided.JUNIOR PROGRAM - Housed with host families.
