needs credit for:
• 4 Language Arts
• 4 Mathematics
• 4 Sciences
• 4 Social Studies classes
• 1 Health and Personal
Fitness
• 3 CTAE and/or Art and/or
Foreign Language
• 4 General Elective
Total of 23 credits (minimum)
Your Senior should have a Post-Secondary OptionTechnical or Two

• Recommendations (if needed)
• Counselor Recommendation, or school evaluation (must complete recommendation packet found on website)
• Teacher Recommendation (letter or form)

Teacher Recommendations
Get to know your teachers! The more they know about you, the more personal the recommendation!
Give teachers 3-4 weeks notice to write letters of recommendation.
Students must complete the Recommendations Questionnaire in Naviance.
Sometimes sent by mail directly to college.

Counselors need as much information as possible when preparing your recommendation.
Students must complete the Recommendations Questionnaire in Naviance.
3-4 weeks notice for Counselor forms/letters
Some colleges have their own form for counselors to fill out; check individual college websites to download the necessary forms.

Academic (core) GPA: Only courses from Math, English, Social Studies, Science, and Foreign Language count.
