What is Race?

Race is a classification system used to categorize humans by culture, ethnicity, religion, and social affiliation.

It goes far beyond a persons skin color.

Perhaps the most entrenched canard about sports and race is that there is an inverse relationship between athletic aptitude and intelligence.  As such, the more athletic a player is, the more likely he is to be perceived as intellectually challenged.
