Andrew R. Hanson Senior Analyst

Andrew R. Hanson is a Senior Research Analyst at the Center on Education and the Workforce, a leading national education think tank housed at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. Andrew is a national expert on the intersection between postsecondary education and the labor market. His research focuses on workforce development, millennials’ experience in the job market, work-based learning, and the economic value of credentials including college degrees and certificates as well as occupational licenses and certifications. Andrew’s research has been featured in major media outlets including the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, NPR, and PBS Newshour. His most recent paper is “From to College to Career: Making Sense of the Post-. Millennial Job Market.” Andrew is a first-generation college graduate and a Teach For America and Americorps alumnus. He received his B.A. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
