Swiss Sendall Newsletter for 2010 First of all, happy new year to all of you, and many thanks to those who sent us emails, cards, greetings, etc. Greetings and salutations from the tribe of Sendall in the sparsely wooded Jura foothills of Lully, Switzerland. Note from the editor: the tribe’s minister for internal affairs has decreed that such a report be  produced annually, with incessant badgering starting from the second half of December as  principal motivator for report completion. This edition should not disappoint those people who are thrilled by the prospect of lavish abstinence, know what it means to plummet to the top, and have understood together with the rest of Europe what a former U.S. president (unnamed) meant when he said "It will take time to restore chaos and order" and "There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on --shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again." We nevertheless hope you enjoy it... As has been a distinguishing quality of previous reports, we again offer an executive summary for those of you too busy to read the whole thing or too shrewd to read to the end: Tabea Harriet Brucette Sendall finally arrived to greet a relieved Mum and an absent Dad, a little late if you ask Mum or a little early if you ask Dad (read further to get the juicy bits), but none for the worse; Shane outlandishly avoided visiting any hospitals in 2010; Erin discovered the opposite sex and was unfortunately diagnosed with coeliac disease; Jesse discovered he had the ability to repetitively impersonate John McEnroe contesting a line call; and Fab finished the year by turning her sister’s car roof box into an underground car park exhibit. So January began hot on the heals of a ski-empowered Erin, who had her first lessons of skiing in December and was keen indeed to show-off her new found bag of tricks: like a “360 Tail Grab” (her Dad does a 360 while trying to grab her tail to stop her falling). Also, as December started the precedence of excessive amounts of rich foods, we deemed it prudent to only gradually reduce this excess towards a normal diet. As such, January was sacrificed as athletically-incorrect with multiple visits for dinner by friends and family. Shane also took the opportunity of participating to a Ski and Fondue day with the men of his church, where he astutely avoided the Ski part and indulged in the Fondue part. Fab stopped working mid- January to concentrate on her belly bulging activities. She also took the opportunity to go with Erin to her school for half a day. It was great to see Erin in her classroom environment, and we even heard that Fab couldn’t help indulging herself in a return to the old days of shooting paper balls at the back of a turned Teacher and then blaming one of the kids (just joking). February was the start of a strict return to a normal diet for everyone except Fab. With the approaching birth of another little knee-nipper, her ferocious attacks on the fridge ensured that everyone else was forcibly eating less. After much ado with a fridge, the big day finally arrived on the 18th (4 days late), or did it? (well of course it did, but not quite like that). Unlike the previous births, Tabea’s arrival wasn’t the usual pit-stop, change the oil, inflate the tires, and out
