Symptoms of depression
Does not love anything Cannot enjoy anythingEverything looks difficult or impossible, Cannot cope cannot organize thingsLack of will to act, to do, no ambition.Avoidance from people and company.Self destruction. Suicidal
Symptoms of depression
Feeling that everything is worthless
Apathy. Indifference to others.

In Homeopathy
The purpose and the benefits of this approach
Better understanding of:
The structure of the human mind.
The homeopathic remedies
The different pathologies
Practical applications
Better understanding of: Ourselves
The patients mind The body mind connections
Improved ability: To take the case properly
To explain the patient his problem
The Four Elements:
The four components that consist everything in the world (physical and spiritual).
Earth Water Air Fire
The Four Kingdoms
The four degrees or levels of development or consciousness of the different things in our world
Inanimate (Mineral) Plants Animals Human

FOUR ELEMENTS CLASSIFICATION
EVERYTHING IN OUR WORLD IS CONSISTED OF THE FOUR ELEMENTS.
EVERY STRUCTURE, MECHANISM OR ACTIVITY COULD BE DIVIDED OR CLASSIFIED ACCORDING TO THE: FOUR ELEMENTS CLASSIFICATION.
Human organism consists of four elements
)Body and mind(
Every substance - Remedy,
consists of four the four elements
The four elements are actually qualities that constitutes every substance or spirit in every substance or organism.
Elements and pathology
The symptoms are the result of imbalance or disharmony between the four elements.
Character of symptoms
The character of a symptom is the result of
the pathology of the main (one) element which is imbalanced and the changes in the other elements as consequences.
Four elements as expressed in nature (Inanimate)
Earth - solid
Water - liquid
Air - gas
Fire - energy
Elements qualities(Kabbalah)
Fire - warm and dry
Air - wet and warm
Water - cold and wet
Earth - dry and cold
Axis of four elements
Two pairs of opposites:
Water - Fire Air - Earth
Fire - hot dry
Water - cold wet
Air - wet hot
Earth - dry cold
Role of elements
Earth - strength stability
Water - flow flexibility
Air - spread development
Fire - activation creation purpose
Elements and motion
Earth - fixation stability (solid)
Water - flow wave (fluid)
Air - expansion spread (gas)
Fire - spark burst (energy)

The four kingdoms
Four kingdoms
The human being is made of four kingdoms
The source of our remedies is made from the four kingdoms
`
Why do we need the “kingdoms” approach?
MATERIA MEDICA
Better undersanding the essence or kind of information - imprinted in remedies
from different sources.
In order to study the essence or “basic delusion ”of remedies from different kingdoms, we must learn about the nature or the characteristics of each kingdom.
Differential diagnosis between remedies
For an example there should be a different kind
of “information” in Nat-m. which is composed of
only two elements, in comparison with Sepia.
which is an animal and consists of many
elements organs and systems.
REPERTORY
BETTER UNDERSTANDING THE MEANING OF EACH REMEDY WHICH IS INCLUDED IN THE SAME RUBRIC
The ability to understand the fundamental differences between the kingdoms would enable us to understand better the reasons for the different remedies to be included in the one rubric. We would discuss later the rubric: antagonism with herself and the remedies Aur., Kali-c., Anac., Lac-c, and Sep. which are all included.
ANALYSIS OF THE CASE
A. Location of pathology:
The kingdoms approach is helpful not only in understanding better the difference between remedies, but also the location and the nature of the pathology of the organism (body and mind).
B. The kind of pathology
During the process of proving we are able to observe in what way each substance or each remedy affects every kingdom of the prover. So, a mineral would stimulate the vital force to create symptoms of the four kingdoms but with mineral quality.
For example calc-c got (or produces) symptoms originating of the four kingdoms. But all the symptoms would have the same characteristics of a mineral.
PROVING.
When we study a proving of a remedy we have to
understand the different kingdoms that are affected.
The collection of symptoms that are studied today
are a mixture, and that is why it is difficult to
understand the idea behind it. In fact we have to
classify the collection of symptoms of every remedy to
the different kingdoms that were affected. This would
help to understand the deep nature of the remedy.
HELP IN SELECTING THE RELEVANT SYMPTOMS
While taking the case we get many symptoms. Some of them are relevant and reflect the kind of pathology of the patient, but others are not. Although most of the symptoms that we get from the patient are “true”, many of them are not relevant for the homeopath.
HELP IN SELECTING THE RIGHT POTENCY
Some homeopaths claim that the potency is not so important. They say that as long as the remedy is correct the potency is not important so much. My personal experience is quite different. I have found that giving the right potency is very important in the management of the case. As we go higher with the potency we give a “higher” level of information of the remedy. Understanding the pathology through the kingdoms approach would help in selecting the right potency.

The four kingdoms that consist the human organism
Kingdoms - body structure aspects
Inanimate - minerals, fluids, gases, energy, systems: skeleton, bones, cartilage, tendons, connective tissue.

Example of silicea as a remedy of “mineral pathology”
Glass sensation - “brittle” Fear of penetration (pins) - being broken. Don’t own her left side. Don’t belong (foreign body). Fear, undertake new mission. Fear to speak in public. Unwanted pregnancy. Vaccination agg I.v.f pergonal, after
Silica and Pulsatilla
Sil feels brittle, but Puls feels too flexible.
That’s why it looks similar. But sil. does not have forsaken feeling but a more an
“I don’t belong feeling .”
