Presenters: Pamela Meador, RN, BSN-BC Pam began her career in Skilled Nursing in 1991 as an RN
charge nurse on a subacute unit in Beckley, WV. Over her
20-year service with the same company, she enjoyed
many positions, such as MDS coordinator, Assistant Direc-
tor of Nursing, Staff Development Coordinator and Direc-
tor of Nursing. She has been with Quality Insights as an
RN Project Coordinator for Long Term Care since 2010.
Sheila Barnett, RN, BSN Sheila’s love of long-term care began in 1997, when she
worked as a CNA while attending Mountain State Universi-
ty for her BSN. Upon graduating and passing her boards,
she continued as an RN Charge Nurse, eventually moving
into many roles, including MDS coordinator, Assistant Di-
rector of Nursing, and Director of Nursing. She has been
with Quality Insights as an RN Project Coordinator since
2016.
Continuing Education This educational offering is being reviewed by the
National Continuing Education Review Service
(NCERS) of the National Association of Long Term
Care Administrator Boards (NAB) for 4.0 clock hours
and 4.0 participant hours.
4.8 contact hours are under review for RNs/
LPNs by the WVHCA, an approved provider by
the WV Board of Examiners for Registered Pro-
fessional Nurses.
