Ist time ; 2 Pre-tests conducted to rectify problems . Trial Census checking on content , flow and language. Feedbacks received changes were carried out.

After several rounds of identifications, consultation and feedbacks of the current needs of data type the questions were considered

Added on : (Housing – no. of storey; Income ( range); Computer literacy Involvement in Agriculture and mode of transportation to work)
Deleted off : (Year of construction)
Questionnaire divided into 4 sections (TOTAL OF 51 Questions)

Method of Processing
ICR – First time for the Population Census Scanning of questionnaire is being done
(Certain considerations had to be observed as to the type paper, accuracy of layout where margin boundary was specified and type of pen used)

Quality assurance (Various standard checks being done)
i. Basic essential tabulations (immediate use as an input guide to drafting policies)
ii. Recommended tables ( UN Manual)
iii. Additional Tables – Depending to the needs of economic/social development and request by data users
iv. Creation of sub data base files – single mothers, household type etc.
v. Creation of a central repository data base – collaborating and integration with other agencies

CHALLENGES i. With respondents wanting more privacy, the online
method of filling the forms was introduce.
ii. Gated communities in urban areas several attempts were made by the enumerators to obtain results.
iii. The users need more and more qualified, timely and easily to get statistics.
iv. Enlarging the means of data collection – using digital records of administration and commerce.
