    Step by step to make Semi-Regular Tessellation

    1. Construct a circle using the circle tool.

    2. Make a straight line connecting the centre point and the circle using the segment

    tool

    3. Use the selection arrow tooldeselect all by clicking anywhere outside the

    diagram. Select straight line AB and point A. Go to Constructtab and select

    Perpendicular line. Use the segment tool, connect point A and circle by following

    the perpendicular line.

    4. Use the selection arrow tool, deselect all. Then select the circle and the

    perpendicular line. Go to Displaytab and select Hide object.

    5. Select line AC and point C. Go to Constructtab and select Perpendicular line.

    Then select line AB and point B. Go to Constructtab and select Perpendicular

    line.

    6. Select both constructed perpendicular line, then go to Constructtab and select

    Intersection point. Label the intersection point as D. Select point C and D. Go to

    Constructtab and select segment. Select point D and B. Go to Constructtab and

    select Segment.

    7. Use the Selection arrow tool, select both constructed perpendicular line. Go to

    Displaytab and select Hide perpendicular lines.

    8. Select point A, B, D and C. Go to Constructtab and select Quadrilateral Interior.

    9. Deselect all. Double click point D. Select point C. Go to Transform tab and select

    Rotate. Rotate -60 degree and point C appear.

    10. Repeat step 9 for every side of the square so that it look like the diagram.

    11.Select point C, C and D. Go to Constructtab and select Triangle Interior. Select

    the triangle and go to Displaytab select Color; change the color of the triangle

    into any other color.

    12. Repeat step 11 for all sides so that it look like the diagram

    13.Deselect all. Select point A then D. Go to Transform tab and select Mark Vector.

    Deselect all. Select all the triangle and square (not including the points and the

    line). Go to Transform tab again and select Translate. Translate the diagram by

    mark vector.

    14.Deselect all. Select point C thenB. Go to Transform tab and select Mark Vector.

    Deselect all. Select all the triangle and square (not including the points and the

    line). Go to Transform tab again and select Translate. Translate the diagram by

    mark vector.

    15.Deselect all. Select point Athen D. Go to Transform tab and select Mark Vector.

    Deselect all. Select the diagram translated at step 14. Go to Transform tab again

    and select Translate. Translate the diagram by mark vector. Use the Point tool to

    make points at each vertex inside the diagrams.

    16. Use the selection arrow tool to select all the points on each vertex inside the

    diagram according to its arrangement. Go to Constructtab and select Polygon

    Interior. Select the Octagon, go to Displaytab, select Colorand change the color

    of the Octagon into other color. The semi-regular tessellation is done
