What Are HUD Homes? A HUD Home is a home where the Federal

Housing Administration (FHA) Insured a mortgage

The lender foreclosed

Lender submitted claim for payment to the

HUD paid a claim to lender on the property

net to HUD bidder

Back-up offers held

Bids not acceptable but within a range

Contractor announces resubmission/counter offers
