Overview: Self Provisioning Tool
The Self provisioning tool allows an administrator, when using the master
account, to make the following changes:
• Check your SMS Balance*
• Top-up your SMS Credits*
• View your SMS Credit Purchase History*
• Configure a 'low SMS credit' email alert*
• User account management
o View your used & also your remaining, unused user accounts
o Create, activate and suspend accounts
o Change account passwords
o Assign Alpha Tags & MSISDN numbers to accounts
• SmartGroup management
o View the number of used and unused SmartGroup numbers
o Create new SmartGroups
o Assign SmartGroups to user accounts
*Pre-Pay SMS Block users only. If you use SMS bundles you will not be able
to use the self-provisioning tool to manage these. Please call your sales
representative or PageOne Customer Support for more information on
changing your SMS bundle.
Accessing the Self Provisioning Tool
You must first log in to your account by visiting the PageOne website:
http://www.pageone.co.uk/login
The Self Provisioning tool is accessed via the Services menu on the left hand
side of your account click on the link titled 'User Management'.
For security reasons you will then be prompted to enter your password and
username. After successfully signing in, you will be presented with the self-
provisioning tool.

'SMS Credits' Tab – SMS Management
If you purchase SMS blocks for use with your account, rather than using an
included monthly bundle of SMS messages, then the SMS Credits tab will be
available to you, and will be the default screen that is presented to you when
the self-provisioning tool loads.

Check your SMS Credit Balance
Your remaining SMS Credits are displayed at the top of the SMS Credits
Window. See Fig.1
Set a Low SMS Credit Email Alert
In order to avoid inadvertently running out of SMS credits, it is possible to set
up a reminder for when your SMS Credit falls below a user-definable limit. If
you would like to receive a low SMS credit email alert, enter your desired
SMS limit along with your email address and click 'Enable Notification'.

Purchase SMS Credits

To purchase additional SMS credits, select the appropriate size block of SMS
credits that you would like to purchase. When you have selected a block size,
the block's price will be displayed in the 'Top-up block price' field. The price
shown is based on the price of the SMS as agreed in your contract and you
will be invoiced for this amount once you have confirmed the purchase.

You may also wish to enter a billing reference for each SMS top-up. This is
solely for your reference.
An email address is also required for the confirmation email that will be sent to
you to confirm the SMS top-up.
Finally, press 'Order SMS Credits', then read and agree to the disclaimer to
purchase the SMS top up. Alternatively, you can click 'Cancel' to abort the
transaction. On pressing order you should see the confirmation dialogue,
informing you that your account will be billed accordingly and your SMS
credits will be updated (Fig.1.3).

Other Block Sizes
If you wish to purchase a size of SMS block different to that available via the
self-provisioning tool, please contact your sales representative or our
customer support team.

View your SMS Purchase History

Click 'View SMS Credits Order History' to view your previous top-ups of SMS
blocks. Each block of SMS that you purchase is shown along with the
remaining credit balance and the order & expiry dates of the top-up. SMS top-
ups are valid for one year. Using SMS credits will always deplete credit from
the oldest block first.

The top of the User Accounts tab view displays the number of accounts you
are able to create as well as the number that have already been created.
If you would like to increase your User Account allowance, please contact
your sales representative or contact customer support.
Creating User Accounts
Click 'Add New User Account(s)' and you will be prompted to enter an account
Username and Password (Fig 2.2). Alternatively you can select the 'Multiple
Accounts' option (Fig 2.3), which allows you to enter a list of usernames. Each
username must be on a new line. Clicking 'Confirm' will create the account(s)
that have been entered.

Duplicate Usernames
If any of the usernames you have entered already exist, then the account
creation process will be aborted.

Managing User Accounts
Each of the user accounts that you have created are displayed, along with the
accounts Username, Status, number of assigned Alpha Tags & MSISDNs and
the user ID. There is also a field for notes, which you may find useful for
recording information such as to whom (person / department) the account has
been created for, or assigned to.
To edit any of the account record information fields, including account status
(note: the User Id cannot be changed), simply click on the field to edit it (see
Fig.2.4). Enter the new information and click Save to apply the change.

To change the password for an account, select the checkbox of the account
you wish to change and then press 'Change Password'. Type in the new
password when prompted and confirm your changes.

Assigning Alpha Tags & MSISDN
Each account record displays a button with the number of Assigned Alpha
Tags & MSISDNs that have been assigned to it. To edit these, click the button
and a pop up will appear to let you assign or remove the Alpha Tags and
MSISDN records that are available in your account (Fig.2.7).

To add an Alpha Tag or MSISDN, select one that is listed as 'Available' and
click 'Assign'. To remove, select one from the 'Assigned' list and click 'Un-
assign'.

'SmartGroups' Tab – SmartGroup Management
As well as giving you the control to create and manage SmartGroups, the
SmartGroups Tab provides information such as the number of SmartGroups
that you are entitled to create and the number of SmartGroups you have
created (Fig.3.1).

If you would like to increase your SmartGroup allowance, please contact your
sales representative or contact customer support.
Add new SmartGroups
To add new SmartGroups, select how many you would like to create from the
drop-down menu and then click 'Add SmartGroups' (Fig.3.2). The new
SmartGroups will be created and added to the SmartGroups table (as long as
you have enough free SmartGroups available).

Manage SmartGroups
The SmartGroups table displays all the SmartGroups in use, their names
(editable – just click to amend) and information about how many accounts
they are assigned to.

Manage User Account Access to SmartGroups
To change which accounts have access to a SmartGroup, click the button in
the 'SmartGroup Access' column, of the row that concerns the SmartGroup
number that you wish to amend (Fig3.3). The SmartGroup User Access
Management window will be displayed, which can be used to amend the user
accounts that have access to each SmartGroup (Fig3.4).

To give a user access to a SmartGroup, select them from the 'Available
Users' column and click 'Assign'. To remove a users' access, select them from
the 'Assigned Users' column and click 'Un-assign' (Fig.3.4). Then, to apply
your changes, click 'Confirm'. Click 'Cancel' to abandon your changes.
