Selective Herbicides

T2 Green ProT2 Green Pro is a selective herbicide for the control of annual and perennial weeds in managed amenity turf.

T2 Green Pro is formulated from 3 active ingredients mecoprop-P, MCPA and Dicamba.

Each component has different strengths on different weed species. Mecoprop-P gives excellent control of Clover, whilst MCPA controls weeds with deeper roots such as Dandelion and Cat’s-ear.

T2 Green Pro is a soluble concentrate containing 43.3 g/L (4% w/w) mecoprop-P, 245 g/L (23% w/w) MCPA and 19.5 g/L (1.8% w/w) dicamba as the potassium salt.

Tank-Mix

Harness the power of tank-mixing, to put real weed control muscle in your spray tank.A selective herbicide product will control a range of different weeds, depending on the quantity and type of active ingredients it contains.

Each active component contained in the product will control certain weeds but not all. Each has its strengths and weaknesses because differences in the chemical structure give rise to variances in the spectrum of weeds controlled. By carefully formulating products with two or more active ingredients, manufacturers are able to extend the range of weeds controlled.

We can widen the range of weed control further to include the majority of species commonly found in turf by using a tank-mix of T2 Green Pro with Depitox and Duplosan.

Weed Controlled by T2 Green Pro, Depitox and Duplosan

Procedure

Half fill the spray tank with water and then add the T2 Green Pro at the rate of 4L in 300 to 500L water per hectare, whilst agitating to ensure thorough mixing.

Next add Duplosan at the rate of 1.2L per hectare followed by Depitox at 1.5L/ha.

Top up the spray tank with the remaining water and ensure the products are thoroughly mixed before applying.
