How we roll…

The Bank of Mum and Dad, presented by the Jack and Ada Beattie Foundation is a new micro-finance concept, offering charge and interest free credit to financially excluded individuals. The aim? To break the cycle of poverty attached to payday loans, and prevent people from having to turn to the evil and corrupt organisations who dominate this space.

Canvas established and runs the Bank of Mum and Dad operationally – as well as directs the design and digital elements.

The Jack and Beattie Foundation aims to assist the marginalised facing social injustice and inequality through funding priorities of ‘Dignity’, ‘Freedom’ and ‘Sanctuary’.

Notably, the Foundation’s ‘D Day 70: A Final Salute’ campaign in aid of the Normandy Heroes saw Veterans return to the Beaches of Normandy for the 70th anniversary of D-Day in style.

Alex joined forces with Trevor Beattie and family before founding Canvas, to establish and head the foundation. Canvas continues to run the foundation, and manages all the design and digital aspects (online presence, campaigns, brand development, marketing and communications material)

Sustainable change for those who need it most The Just Living Foundation, supports essential human rights and the needs of individuals and communities across the World. Canvas partnered with the Walker Family to establish and run all operational aspects of the grant-making organisation, and manages all aspects of the Just Living Foundation’s design and digital needs.

Helping forgotten young people reach for the stars

the7stars foundation, established by the7stars, the UK’s most successful and independent

media agency, supports the most challenged under 16 year olds in the United Kingdom.

Assisting forgotten young people lacking opportunity, to achieve their potential. Canvas

joined forces with the7stars agency to establish and direct their foundation.

Principally, Canvas managed the establishment of the Foundation and then directed the income generation and communication strategies for the organisation.
