April 2016 to present: Procurement Assistant, UNICEF Liberia Main Duties and Responsibilities

Manage procurement actions in respect of supply plan/needs and requisitions for local goods and services. Responsible for accurate performance of the procurement chain throughout the process, including but not limited to solicitation, issuance of long-term agreements with contractors and suppliers and, when required, co-ordinates with all parties concerned on outstanding issues.

In accordance with UNICEF standard practices and as assigned by the supervisor, takes lead in managing the more complex bidding exercises and administer large, long term agreements, specifically for local strategy commodities required for RITE , CCCs, and supplies that UNICEF has been tasked to procure and deliver.

Support the procurement team members’ capacity building and maintaining a positive spirit through interactive communication including but not limited to; regular and ad-hoc meetings, knowledge sharing and exchanges sessions.

Support the procurement process including providing input to TORs, CRC presentations, development of technical evaluation criteria, assistance with evaluation of vendor proposals and guidance during contract formulation, drafting and negotiation.

Ensure proper supply category management of local commodities and/or line items assigned to each local procurement team member through regular monitoring and interactive collaboration with the team, corresponding markets, and users. Coordinate with the chief of

Overall planning, budget and control of expenditure for shared operational costs and coordination of budgeting and expenditure related to program implementation.

Manage the UNHCR Logistics and Technical services in Afghanistan. Direct supervision and management of staff in the relevant areas of responsibility; Ensure that payments and actions are in accordance with the legislation as well as donor and

As Logistics Coordinator I have the overall responsibility for the timely and effective procurement & logistical support required for the implementation of DRC DDG regular and emergency programs in Central African Republic. Design and implement a sustainable and robust procurement and logistics system for the

efficient and effective support to all DRC Central African Republic regular and emergency programs and support services

Ensure the timely implementation of the CAST (Control, Audit and Support Team) recommendations

Provide timely procurement and logistics reports as required Organize all in-country travel requirements with UNHAS for all DRC staff. Ensure that the compound management costs of the Base compounds are as efficient as
