Welcome to Redeemer Lutheran! We are a diverse community of people always learning what it means to live a life of discipleship. We are Lutheran (ELCA); we live across the street, around the corner, in the Hartford area, and in the nearby countryside. We work in schools, factories, offices, fields, and hospitals. We are laborers, students, retired, and unemployed. We range in age from the newly born to seniors. We come from backgrounds of Catholic and Protestant while some are discovering church for the first time. We come together with our joys and sorrows, our faith, and our doubts. When we worship together, sing together, study the Bible together, fellowship together – we love and support one another to become one body of Christ. No matter who you are, no matter where you are on life’s journey… You are Welcome Here! Seeds of Ministry

In today's psalm for the psalmist, the storm is a symbol not of the power of nature, but rather of the power and sovereignty of Israel’s God. Seven,

the number of completeness, is significant. Israel’s God is completely powerful and ultimately

sovereign. There can be no competing claims. As we as humans think of the things to which we

often attribute our blessedness and well-being -- technological progress, the stock market, a

capitalist economy, our own ingenuity and hard work and so many of the accomplishments of

man what a difference might it make torecognize and celebrate God as the ultimate

sovereign and origin of life and all that sustains it. Do we? Do we enough? Do we at all?

The Redeemer Fish Fry Group will be going to Iron Ridge Inn on Friday, June 1st . Please call BarbMenden so we know how many reservations to make.
