Yes it may be Chinese New Year on the 16th February but we don’t live in China, that doesn’t seem to bother him. So I did a little digging

Gabriel Brown – Film Talk.What’s On in February.Over the past few months I’ve been part of a film group where we have been learning and practicing the various roles we are all interested in, from acting to directing, cinematography, the works. This is being run by My Life Productions with Kris Deedigan, who has been an amazing group leader in teaching us, but making sure everyone’s ideas are heard also. The most exciting part about the group is that we are leading up to a full scale film shoot in the February half term, and it is likely the film will be shown at the Alnwick Playhouse!I have contributed in writing and my primary role for the shoot is cinematographer, where I work closely with the director in forming shots and making sure the lighting, framing etc. is spot on. So far, I think I’ve done alright! The team has been great, and the variation in ideas is fantastic, with everyone coming up with ideas I’d never thought of, and vice versa. The film will be shot around Alnwick, another aspect I’m very happy about since Alnwick isn’t the most known place for films (yes true the first two Harry Potters and the latest Transformers, but that’s just the castle not the whole town.)I have to say thank you to Kris and the whole team I’m working with for making it all so enjoyable and great to work with, and making Mondays 10x better than they’d usually be.I’m extremely looking forward to the shoot, and if it’s anything like the past few months meeting have been, I know I’ll love it.
