Dudhsagar Waterfall Trip

Dudhsagar Waterfall in Goa is amongst the top 100 highest waterfalls in the world. Waterfalls in Goa are an added attraction to entertain and pull the crowd apart from its sunny beaches, dazzling discos and swaying palms. This cascading Dudhsagar waterfall takes a steep plunge of 2000 feet down in the wooded mountains of the Western Ghats. It is also believed to be one of the highest falls in the country.Dudhsagar waterfalls situated at a distance of 60 Km from Margoa; that is, on the border of Goa and Karnataka and lying on the eastern border of Goa-Karnataka, is a beholder's delight.

When to visit?The fall is generally calm during summers. But during monsoon due to incessant downpour, the falls become active and attract a huge chunk of tourists.Plunging into enjoyment with the falls:Swimming is a good option at the falls when the water is calm in desired area. The adventurers could try and climb up to the head of the falls through bushes, boulders and water. It's a tough climb which takes at least a couple of hours. Day 02 - WayanadHave an early breakfast and leave for Kuruwa Dweep. Kuruwa Island is 955 acres of green forest along the banks of the tributaries of the east flowing Kabini river. This island is uninhabited and a paradise with myriad birds. Proceed to Muthanga wildlife sanctuary. You can find here spotted deers, elephants, bisons, leopards, tigers… etc. It is 25 kms. drive inside the sanctuary exploring wildlife and return to hotel in the evening. Day 03 - Wayanad Departure Morning after an early breakfast, check-out from your room and keep your luggage in the vehicle. Leave for Soochipara waterfalls and it is a 3-tiered powerful waterfalls situated in the dense equatorial forest of Wayanad. The cliff face here is ideal for rock climbing but for professionals only. Then proceed for departure transfer to Calicut Airport/Railway station for your onward journey.

The Palace museum displays paintings and various priceless collections of the royal family. The Zoological Park: (10.00am to 6.15 pm- Closed on Mondays). One of the first Zoo in India. It is located in a well planed Botanical Garden, with huge trees, sprawling lawns and wild fowl swimming in the lakes which feel like a small jungle in the heart of the City. A reptile house with different species of snakes is also located in this premise.
