The Slim Gel Body Wrap is a quick and

effective way to lose unwanted inches with

the minimum of fuss. This superb body

contouring treatment will also detoxify the

system at the same time as helping to

improve the appearance of cellulite.

Preparations required:

Slim Gel; Toner; Wrapping Bandages; Bandage

Clips; Tape Measure; Slim Gel Leaflet with

Client Record Chart; Body Therapy Gel; Watersoluble pen/crayon.

Frequency:

The treatment can be carried out as often as

required.

All skin types Duration: 1 hr 30 mins

Procedure:

First prepare the treatment couch with plenty of cleantowels. Following a thorough consultation, record the

date and weight (if desired) of the client on their SlimGel leaflet.

With the client in a standing position, measure theclient accurately from the floor and mark with a water-soluble pen or crayon. Fill in the ‘before’column of the client’s measuring chart.

Apply the warmed Slim Gel to the client and wrapupwards with the bandages as instructed on theSlim Gel Body Wrap training day.

Help the client to the couch and cover well with

blankets. Make sure that the client is warm andcomfortable.

Allow the client to rest for an hour. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CLIENT.

OPTIONAL - During this time a further treatmentshould be offered.

After one hour, help the client up from the couch,remove bandages and take measurements. Markthese in the 'after' column of their chart. Inform theclient of the total inch loss achieved.

Tone areas to remove any residue.

Apply an application of Body Therapy Gel toproblem areas.

Finish by recommending the correct home care

products to maintain result. Book a follow upappointment.

Contra-indications

Whilst this is a safe treatment to carry out it is wise tocheck certain factors. Prior to carrying out thetreatment you should check for the following contra-indications.

high or low blood pressure

heart disease

kidney disease

slipped disc

diabetes

skin ailments (e.g. eczema)

pregnancy

breast feeding mothers

epilepsy

post operative clients (get doctor's note first)

varicose veins

any serious illness (get doctor's note first)

post natal - within 6 months (get doctor's note first).

If in doubt, obtain a doctor’s permission first.
