Secretaries of the Health and Human Services and EducationDepartments to Host Town Hall Meetings in Four-Corners Area

Santa Fe, April 18, 2006 – Six Governor Bill Richardson Administration cabinet secretaries will hold AHealthy New Mexico town hall meetings in Shiprock and Farmington on Thursday, April 20 and in Grantson Friday, April 21. The focus of the meetings will be to hear from New Mexico citizens about health andeducation issues in their communities. Hosting the meetings will be the secretaries, or their designatedrepresentatives, from the departments of Aging and Long-term Services; Children, Youth and Families;Public Education; Health; Higher Education and Human Services.

The public meetings schedule is: • Thursday, April 20 in Shiprock from 1:30-4:00 p.m., at the Chapter House, HWY 64.• Thursday, April 20 in Farmington from 6:00-8:30 p.m., at the Farmington Museum at
