What‘s a pitch?


Do you remember your first pitch?


Guess what.

So. But what do I (Bianca) have to

I am rooted in performing arts


Actors work 6 weeks on a 5-minutes-

Monologue.


Fulltime.


A monologueis a pitch.


It‘s the same:


One person.


On a stage.


Tries to bring the Inside of HIS Head....


...Into the Head of his AUDIENCE.


In 5 Minutes.


(...For this you will need Love & Power.)


Nowhere is pitching more important -than in Startups.


But why?

Worst case in a theatre pitch:


-Shitty performance. -disappointing Evening.

Worst case in Startup pitch:


-No Investment.-No next big thing.

-No money to pay your Developer-your Designer

-and your lovely Pitch Coach.

B)„Audio-visual level“.


What you say on the „Content-level“...

has to match with the way you are presenting it.

We‘re solving it all the worlds problems.(Woohoo!)

Speak UP.

Speak SLOW.

Speak CLEARLY.

Thinking clear....

...will make you Speaking clearly.


Keep your voice relaxed and rather deep.


Watch your melody.

Don‘t end your senteces on a high pitch.(....because it implies a question)


Orchestrate your pitch.


Dont only use one tone of

voice.


Make it a Symphony of diversity.


Guess what:


Whenever You are communicating....

.....you are actually communicating.


...Take the „public speaking skills“ of this Guy.


....Now, imagine his exact words.......


....„being told“ by

this Guy.


(....That is exactly what I mean by „Audio-visual-level“.)


They don‘t quite have the same sort of credibility.
