ABOUT OUR MANAGING DIRECTOR
Bahauddin Chowdhury Baker, the honorable Managing Director of Seasons Dreesses Ltd. He has completed his graduation in the year 1984, and then he has started his garments career with his family business. Then he started his own business in 1996 with a small factory and gradually he has build up his business from 2 lines to 20 lines in two different factory called Seasons Dresses Ltd. and Mifkif Apparel Ltd. He is a visionary, specialist and technical person in the field of business, adapting to continuous changes in the global markets and businesses. Mr. Bahauddin Chowdhury Baker is a distinguished business personality in Bangladesh and the main architect of Season Group. He has been instrumental in developing a good reputation of the company. He is the chief architect of his own Vision 2030, through which Season Group aims to achieve vision 2030. Mr. Chowdhury added, “home is the reflection of the home maker” and to me my company, my factories are my second home and I intend to reflect my commitment and dedication to my company and to my staffs through the way I run my company and all its affairs. My staff members and I always share a good working coordination at our work places and we maintain mutual understanding and utmost compliance with each other. located at Tongi, Gazipur (Dhaka) in Bangladesh. Now the world became more competitive and
as a competitor we are more committed to deliver the highest quality and maximum
production along with high technological resources. Seasons Dresses Limited is a factory
consists of 115000 square feet.

INTRODUCTION
The policy of this company is to recruit only adult workers with a minimum
age of 18 years. We have zero tolerance on discrimination based on gender, race,
religion/area, reed of credo, complexion, nationality, etc is made during

How the factory does recruit workers?

Working Age: Minimum 18 Years of age.
How age is determined?
- HRD officials preliminarily screens new workers.
- Qualified doctor finally confirms age and then issues written age
certificate.
- Birth certificate, NID, School Certificate (If available)
The policy of this company is to strictly abide by national laws on working
Hours, Wages & benefits entitled by law.
Daily Working Hours: Daily work hours are 8 hour as established by labor law.
Standard Work Week: Standard work week comprises 48 hours as established by
law.
Permissible Daily OT: 2 hours maximum. Payment system [Basic SalaryX2]/208
hrs X OT hour.
Permissible Maximum Work Week: Maximum 60 hours including OT hours.
Weekly Holiday/Day off: Friday
Minimum wage for a permanent worker: Tk-8,000/=
Frequency of payment of salary: Salary is paid once in a month. Payment is made
within the 7th of the next month.

HEALTH, INDUSTRIAL SAFETY & HYGIENE
Our main tradition is to offer our customers best quality merchandises.
Quality control programs are not only there to help identify spots & reject
defective items but also pinpoint production operations that need special
attention, thereby reducing the number defects in future production of the
garment being manufactured in the sewing lines.
How to control quality system?
01. Piece goods inspection systems:
During piece goods inspection, we follow four point system.
a) We inspect at least 10% of the total rolls in the shipment.
b) We select at least one of the roll of each color or more than one roll per
color.
c) We indicate major defects, i,e; slabs, mixed yarn, hole, needle mark,
missing yarn, crease mark, foreign yarn, shading, oil mark, dirty, dye
spot, broken pattern, grain line etc.
02. Cutting department quality control:
a) Fabric relaxation- We open fabric rolls for relaxation before 24 hours to
start fabric spreading rolls selection with same width & shade dye lot.
b) We follow during spreading marking placement, running shading, fabric
ply tension, layer counting, fabric edge controlling, fabric ply counting,
overlapping & pilling direction.
c) We follow after cutting narrow goods, cut piece checked by original
pattern notches, miss cut, ragged cutting, matching plies.
03. In process quality control:
Our main motto is to produce a best quality merchandises. So we control
quality in process as.
In Process Auditing System:
a) To ensure good quality, we provide 2 inspectors for 30-40 machines.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS)
b) To maintain record data we provide a format against each machine.
c) We make sampling plan with allowable defects.
d) We have written quality standards.
e) We take measurement in critical process.
f) We use arrow sticker to identify defects.
g) We inspect 7 pcs from per bundle. I,e: 24 pcs.
h) We follow AQL-2.5 in process.
We maintain a record or report form for each individual process as below;
a) Date, Operator name & time – clock number.
b) Operation number.
c) Sewing supervisor & line number.
d) Daily in-process audits showing units inspected & units found defect.
e) We maintain a weekly summary to show total units inspected, total
defects found & percent defective.
To maintain best quality we make a inspection report from “sewing line finish
garment”.
a) Date, hourly production quantity, inspected quantity, rejected quantity &
pass quantity.
b) Identify defective & rectified quantity.
Before we proceed to start finishing work, we follow audit/lot pass system
through a format.
a) Buyer, item, style, p.o#, order qty, audit time, lot qty, sample qty,
measurement, defect allowed, total defects percent of defects, pass/fail.
b) Pass>> Allowed to start the finishing work.
c) Fail>> Full lot-100% re-inspection.
