Searching for our origin.The journey must go

on!Right from the early days of humanity , curiosity has been a key element in the development of

mankind. Either this curiosity is induced in it or it developed on its own is also a question ofdebate like the existence of mankind itself. Probably the most appealing question for human

curiosity is the creation of this universe and what brought us to the point of existence.

If we see the endeavors by humanity, from the invention of wheel and use of fire to landing on

moon and aiming to discover the farthest places of the universe , we see the purpose of life asexploring things to satisfy the hunger for knowledge and to discover the unknown.

Quest for understanding the origin of this reality has led to many questions related to the methodof existence either through creation or through incident and evolution. Mankind is using all itspower and methods from drawing conclusions out of ancient myths and philosophical

argumentation to the debates in theology,scientific reasoning and exploration. But still it seemsour understanding has yet to travel a distance of zillion miles to reach the final conclusion or it

may be a never ending journey meant to keep us going as a thinking beings. As Ren Descartes

said, Cogito ergo sum means I think, therefore I am, which shows the purpose of life or if

we twist it a bit to I am, therefore I think, it becomes as a sign of our existence as a realitybecause illusions dont think.

The search is on to determine the laws that govern the universe and how consistent they are

through out the course of time. According to reports, European scientists have claimed todiscover the farthest and the oldest galaxy mankind ever came to know about, till today. One can

understand the magnitude of this discovery by knowing that it takes 13.1 billion years for light toreach the planet Earth from the newly discovered galaxy, named as object UDFY38135539.

Another important step towards the goal of searching for truth is the book written by wellrespected physicist Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow. In the book, The Grand Design,

they argued that it was gravity which played the vital role in the origination of universe fromnothing and no divine intervention was required in the process. It is possible to answer these

questions purely within the realm of science, and without invoking any divine beings says theauthors of the book. The book started a new series of debate on the existence of creator and role

of divine power in the process of origination. Many who dont believe in God treated it as if it isa final proof of non-existence and Many who believe in God termed it as a failed attempt to

come head to head with God.

Though, Hawkings and Mlodinow based their arguments on M-theory, an extension of stringtheory, which itself has not gained the fully approved status in the world of science and

exploration but still it has addressed some of the possibilities which can help us gaining fewsteps in our journey for truth. One important concept which this books has addressed well is the

presence of Rule of Law in universe.

Even in many religions where God has centrality and sole divine powers the existence of rules

and laws governing the universe exist. Even the birth of Jesus (A.S), known to be a miracle, goesthrough a proper process in her mothers womb. Also the concept of Kun Faya Kun (Be and it is)

believed by man, hints that the process was a self-running process which is still going on meansit follows some laws which can be termed as laws of Physics. The search of origin may not be

able to reject the concept of God but it can help us in improving our concept of creation andenhance our knowledge about the creator.

The real thing is search must go on and journey must not stop, it keeps us going as beings with

purpose to exist and wisdom to call ourselves as human beings. If we address the fundamentalquestions with an open minded approach without limiting ourselves much into ists and isms

then we can have a better chance of finding the right answers instead of the desired answers.Evolution, creation or something else but the reality is we exist and why we exist? Ask yourself

too!
