INTRODUCTION

 

All the urban cities need to be a Ratlam Info city. A city can be made Ratlam Info by giving it

a web based platform to be showcased for all it has in terms of unique places to see, things to

do, use transport for a new traveller. This web based platform provides the user all the

facilities to make their daily work in the city easy.

• Numerous people search for Ratlam city everyday. These people include students, businessman, or

other people who are interested in City Ratlam. Therefore a good search engine is essential for

Ratlam.

• To live, work and travel in a city one needs to have complete knowledge about the city. To gather

all the information a lot of time and efforts are required. Moreover as no single integrated source

for information about a city is available, one has to keep track of various sources to gather all the

required information.

PROBLEM DEFINITION

• Requirement Analysis is the process of understanding the customer needs and expectations

from a proposed system or application and is a well-defined stage in the System

Development Life Cycle model.

• The Software Requirement Analysis Process covers the complex task of eliciting and

documenting the requirements of all the users, modeling and analyzing the requirements and

documenting them as a basis for system design. Software Requirements Analysis and

Documentation Processes are critical to software project success.

PROCESS MODEL

• Software Testing is an empirical investigation conducted to provide stakeholders with

information about the quality of the product or service under test. Software Testing also

provides an objective, independent view of the software to allow the business to appreciate

and understand the risks at implementation of the software.

• We use following testing methods in our project :

Black-Box Testing

TESTING

No software can be ideal in itself, but as far as the quality is concerned, we have tried to

develop the software as user friendly as possible. The approach towards designing the system

is modularization and good documentation, thus trying to make maintenance easier. The

application was developed by using a system approach where analysis, design and

development were carried out step by step. This search engine base on the technology of

public search engine and is built specific for the Ratlam city only. So that, results from

searching are relevant.
