of fish meal based on the colour, odour And

appearance. In each lot (up to 300 bags) 100%

sampling is Carried out and the lot numbers are

displayed to the lot as well as to The sample.

Thus the collected sample is sent to our own well

equipped Laboratory to cater the further/ daily

analysis of the products from the Company. We

have well trained quality control personnel Who

are working in a well equipped laboratory.

The laboratory consists of various equipments

Like kjeltec unit (for protein analysis), soxtec

Unit (for fat estimation), monocular microscope,

Digital ir (metler-toledo) and halogen type

Moisture analyzers. Muffle furnace, oven,

Fish Meal

Fishmeal, is a commercial product made from both whole

fish and the bones and offal from processed fish. It is a

brown powder or cake obtained by rendering pressing the

cooked whole fish or fish trimmings to remove most of the

fish oil and water, and then ground. What remains is the

"fishmeal". Fish meal differs from fish hydrolysate in that

the hydrolysate form has the oil and the protein included

in the product.

vitamins and amino acids. We exclusively use sardine stick

water for making fish soluble we make dehydrated fish

soluble using soya bean meal.

Squalene oilSqualene is a natural 30-carbon organic compound originally

obtained for commercial purposes primarily from shark liver

oil (hence its name), although plant sources (primarily

vegetable oils) are now used as well, including amaranth

seed, rice bran, wheat germ, and olives. It is also found in high

concentrations in the stomach oil of birds in the order

Procellariiformes. All plants and animals produce squalene as

a biochemical intermediate, including humans.

Squalene is a hydrocarbon and a triterpene, and is a natural and vital part of the synthesis of

all plant and animal sterols, including cholesterol, steroid hormones, and vitamin D in the

human body. Squalene has been proposed to be an important part of the Mediterranean diet

as it may be a chemopreventive substance that protects people from cancer.

Squalene is a low density compound often stored in the bodies of cartilaginous fish such as

sharks, which lack a swim bladder and must therefore reduce their body density with fats and

oils. Squalene, which is stored mainly in the shark's liver, is lighter than water with a specific

gravity of 0.855.

Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL)

CNSL, Cardanol, Residol and its derivatives are versatile in its

properties. We are competent in providing its customers with

CNSL products within the required specifications. Viscocity, pH,

Ash content, Colour etc. are important to customers in

different degrees and need to be controlled during

production. Our capabilities in handling the specifications

help our customers manufacture high quality products from

CNSL and its derivatives.

Chitin/ChitosinChitin is the second most important natural polymer in the

world. The main sources exploited are two marine

crustaceans, shrimp and crabs. Our objective is to appraise

the state of the art concerning this polysaccharide: its

morphology in the native solid state, methods of identification

and characterization and chemical modifications, as well as

the difficulties in utilizing and processing it for selected

applications.

We note the important work of P. Austin, S. Tokura and S. Hirano, who have contributed to the

applications development of chitin, especially in fiber form. Then, we discuss chitosan, the

most important derivative of chitin, outlining the best techniques to characterize it and the

main problems encountered in its utilization. Chitosan, which is soluble in acidic aqueous

media, is used in many applications (food, cosmetics, biomedical and pharmaceutical

applications).

Fish Fetilizer

Fish fertilizers provide an excellent source of nutrition for

plants and the soil. When fish fertilizers are used, the plant

receives a controlled level of nitrogen, a vital element

necessary for the production of chlorophyll and maintaining

the health of the plant. Too much nitrogen, which can be a

side effect of chemical fertilizers, can overwhelm the plant

and cause it to be more vulnerable to weather fluctuations,

insects and diseases.

It is well known that synthetic nitrogen fertilizers 'volatilize' into the atmosphere, not only being

lost to plant availability, but contributing to greenhouse gases. Runoff of excess synthetic

fertilizers to the water table, aquifers, streams, rivers and our oceans are other negative side

effects. Another major benefit of using a fish fertilizer is improving a healthy food source that

stimulates microorganisms that exist in the soil. Some forms of commonly found soil microbes

also synthesize nitrogen (e.g. nitrifying bacteria).

Fish EmulsionFish emulsion fertilizer is made several different ways

depending on who is making it. The important thing to know is

that fish emulsion goes through two stages of processing. The

first stage breaks down the fish parts using enzymes,

proteases, or chemicals. Then, and this is the important part,

heat is used to break it down further and allow oils and other

things like amino acids to be more easily removed. Its this

second stage of processing that makes fish emulsion less

advantageous than fish hydrolysate. Fish emulsion fertilizer lacks many oils and proteins that

fish hydrolysate fertilizer has in abundance. Fish emulsion, a popular product used in organic agriculture, is used as a soluble fish fertilizer

but is processed with heat. Enzymatically digested hydrolyzed fish retains more of the proteins,

enzymes, vitamins and micronutrients than emulsions, which can be processed with high heat

and acids. Heat tends to denature amino acids in proteins, making them unavailable to the

plants.
