Brest is organising the 9th edition of Sea Tech Week. This international event is a unique occasion which attracts more than 1000 participants and covers various marine-‐related disciplines. Deep Ocean, Energy and Resource, Biotechnology, Monitoring and Robotics, Environment…

In 2014, Sea Tech Week will focus in particular on deep sea challenges, through the central conference Deep Blue Days.
Current challenges in the exploitation of energy, mineral and biological resources will be presented and discussed by covering research and development, technologies, environmental issues, law, economics, governance and defence. This cross-‐cutting approach will help to create new interactions between professional sectors (academia, industry, governmental organizations, public institutions…) and disciplines. Highly competent international speakers will attend the Conference.
