Lower total installed costSchneider Electric’s room controllers integrate both power and simplicity into a compact, “thermostat-like” enclosure. Advanced features address today’s demanding building management needs such as wired or wireless functionality, occupancy sensing and monitoring functions – all at a lower total cost than typical direct digital controls (DDC) with external sensors. Room controllers bridge the gap between the cost of stand-alone thermostats, and the performance of DDC systems by simplifying installation to use existing wiring and reducing commissioning time when controlling roof top units, fan coil units, terminal units and heat pump applications.
An embedded configuration utility and easy-to-understand, menu-driven LCD display offers added flexibility and facilitates installation and commissioning of the SE7000 Series. Installation can be performed quickly without any specialised labour or special tools. Existing building control wiring can also be reused to further lower project installation costs as new wiring is eliminated – reducing installation time and accelerating return on investment.
Occupancy & humidity sensingThe SE7000 Series room controllers provide inputs and outputs for most HVAC applications, as well as relative humidity sensing options and built-in occupancy sensing capabilities for demand-based occupancy control. The PIR motion sensor and advanced occupancy algorithms open up new opportunities in smart energy management, ensuring maximum energy savings for unoccupied rooms at all times.
Additional energy savings are obtained by automatically setting back the temperature to a standby mode when no motion is detected within a space.
Accelerate your return on investment with simplified installation and reduced energy waste.

Open communication & wireless flexibilityRoom controllers support several wired and wireless open communication protocols, including ZigBee® Pro, BACnet®, and LonWorks®. Communication can also be implemented after deployment by adding small communication modules inside the room controllers. All these options provide unparalleled flexibility and scalability to your new installation and retrofit projects. You now have the freedom to choose!
Room controllers, enabled by our wireless communication options (ZigBee Pro), use mesh network topology for optimal redundancy and reliability. Using wireless communication reduces project installation labour, time and costs. This can be advantageous for retrofit projects where running new communication wiring is cost-prohibitive, or simply not feasible due to physical obstacles within the building.
Future-proof your building with a scalable solution Maintaining the value, efficiency and control of your facility's systems over the entire lifespan of your building is very important to us. For that reason we have also designed our room controllers to seamlessly integrate into both our SmartStruxure™ and SmartStruxure Lite solutions, as well as other Schneider Electric BMSs. Integrated control of HVAC, lighting and metering is simplified and future scalability assured with a reliable, cost-effective BMS that meets all your requirements.
A simple, scalable solution at a lower total cost of ownership.
Energy savings can be further optimised through optional occupancy sensing features and wireless window and door switches. Now your occupants can control a room to their ideal temperature - all while you benefit from increased energy savings.
