1.) Double Click on the Makeadmin.lnk icon on your Desktop – Internet Explorer will open and a message will appear and then tell you to log off and log back on.
2.) Click on Yes to make IE8 your default Internet Tool
3.) X-out of Internet Explorer
4.) Then you will need to Log Off and Log back in to your computer– Start– Right Arrow (next to shut down button)– Log Off

using it in a public setting– Desktop pics, sounds, etc.
• Instructors have the right to have you shut the screens, write in tablet mode, etc.
• During class - No checking email, no messaging friends, etc. It is still a classroom.
• Keep your mines.sdsmt.edu email functioning – watch your free space, keep your account active.
• If you break the law, you will be prosecuted – and yes, it has happened many times already. It is almost always a federal crime since the info crosses state lines on the internet. Not something you want on your record
• Do NOT give out your user information to friends/family. If something happens on YOUR machine, YOU are responsible.
