1. The licence applicant must have appointed a liaison officer to act as the key contact point for supporters.

2. The supporter liaison officer must regularly attend meetings with the club’s management and must collaborate with the security officer on safety and security-related matters.

• Art. 35 is the result of close cooperation between UEFA and Supporters Direct

• The SLO concept gained full approval from the national associations represented on the UEFA Club Licensing Committee

• The concept was discussed and endorsed by the 2010 European Football Fans Congress in Barcelona

• Supporters Direct were subsequently commissioned by UEFA to implement the project

Appointment of an advisory expert group comprising:

SLOs from Germany, Denmark, Spain and the Czech Republic National association SLO coordinators from Germany and Portugal Representatives of UEFA, FSE and Supporters Direct

This expert group held three meetings to:

Define the objectives and minimum requirements Review the content of the SLO handbook Plan the training for the national associations/leagues (licensors) and

club SLOs
