1. INT. OPENING SCENE

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Introduces interview with Joker and tells him to sit down

Doctor Hugo Strange Recorded

Medical interview of Patient number

#1994. Taking over from Doctor

Harleen Quinzel. Subject has no

recorded name. Calls himself The

Joker. Please what are you doing?

Leave the Camera alone. Please take

a seat.

The Joker flops himself down on the chair

and tries not to look at the camera.

He looks fidgety and restless.

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Asks Joker to State his real name

Please state your name to the

Camera. YOUR REAL NAME!!

haha I like you Doc. I really do. I

love the way you’re not afraid to

say what’s on your mind. You can

tell everything about me. From my

head right down to down to my nine

toes.

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Anxious to ask a question of interest

The last thing I want to ask

you.How did you get those scars?

Every Doctor that interviews you

seems to have a different story.

but I want the real story.!

JOKER

Getting slightly emotional

The real story. Very well. It was a

Thursday night.The bank was taking

my home. The chemical factory I

worked at was lying off people. I

was in the Hospital HOLDING THE

HANDS OF MY DEAD PREGNANT WIFE!!

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

IT WAS!! That’s why I hate

Explaining what happened

Now with my wife dead I had to

settle her gambling deaths with the

Falcony Gang. So I meat up with Mr

Falcony at the depths of Gotham’s

underworld. His men dragged me in

the door and placed me in front of

him. He said to cheer things up

could be worse. I asked him how? He

grabbed me.... pulled a nail out of

his pocket and asks me why so

serious?

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Very interested

And what did you say?

JOKER

Joker is agitated

I was afraid. AFRAID! What could I

say? Then he asks me again why so

serious? He moved the nail closer

to me and said LET’S PUT A SMILE ON

THAT FACE.! And HE WAS A MAN OF HIS

WORD. HE DID JUST THAT!!

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Intrigued

Then what did u do?

Joker is becoming unstable

I started laughing and laughing and

walked out with a smile on my

face!.

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Feeling a bit uneasy and astonished

I believe I can cure you.

should I say HAD!!

I mean he even took the blame for

Dent’s murder.Causing the Police to

introduce "Dent Act" which resulted

in batman foiling my plan in 8

years time.

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Proving a point about joker’s actions

And what plan was that? To bring an

innocent man down to your level?

Threatening to kill thousands of

men, woman and children? To destroy

all health care places in the

Gotham? Or to show people just how

damaged you really are.

JOKER

Proving a point about survival

No no something simpler than. Chaos

in Gotham!! I told the batman

this when you didn’t need him you

would cast him out. And now he’s

dead. You guys with your so called

degrees are like Animals. No

respect for anyone. Living life by

codes and morals.Telling people

what to do, how to feel and how to

think. This... Bane guy. He didn’t

have the right plan or the right

mind to destroy Gotham. I mean

living in some god forsaken pit

being monitored by Ra’s SA GAOL.

And you call me crazy?? !!No.. no

you live by doing. By wondering

each night can you live to see the

next day. And then someone comes

along and holds a gun up to your

face. What would you do Doc?

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

I don’t know I have never been put

in a position like that before. But

please in lighting me?

Comparing the response of both Joker and strange.

Well... what you would do doc is

lock him up and tell him how bad he

is. Whereas I! would CUT OFF HIS

HANDS!!.

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Shocked

Why? Why would you do something so

horrible?

JOKER

Surprised

WHY.! Because Doc if he doesn’t

have hands he can’t pull a gun on

me again.

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Strange is speechless

JOKER

Now with the Batman gone who’s

going to protect Gotham?

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Answers the question

There is a new hero rising he’s

name is Night Wing.

JOKER

Not excited and responds with sarcasm

WOOO ! I’ll have to pay this

"Nightwing" a Visit.

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Suggests new prison for Joker

Commissioner Gordon thinks you be

best suited in Blackgate Prison

where he can keep a personal eye on

you.

JOKER

Refuses that idea

Blackgate Prison.. AWWW I can’t go

back to Blackgate!.

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Whats to see if Joker killed our harmed inmates

Why not? Could it be you’re afraid

of the inmates there? Because

perhaps you tried to kill them all.

JOKER

Answers the question with honesty

No Blackgate just too easy too

escape from. Why would I want to do

that when I’m safe here in Arkham

Asylum provided with free food,

free shelter all paid by the people

of Gotham.

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Wats to make a deal with joker

I won’t send you to Blackgate, I

can keep you here safely in Arkham

if you make me a deal.

JOKER

Deal.. Well Everyman has a price.

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Strange is amazed with Joker’s state of mind

I wish to study you further. I need

to know why you are the way you

are?

JOKER

Joker accepts the offer.

Well strangely I accept that

offer.But from this interview Doc

you should know there is plenty

wrong with me he he he!!

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

Hugo’s Phones is ringing

CONCLUSION DIALOG WITH JOKER

Very good now the recovery process

can begin.Oh I’m very sorry my

phone is ringing I must take it.

JOKER

Responds with sarcasm

Doc please this is about me.!

FINAL SCENE

Doctor Strange answers his Phone.

There is a huge explosion.

the camera falls on the flour.

There is a cloud of smoke.

There are cards falling everywhere

The cloud disappears.

There is a hole in the wall.

A card falls in front of the camera.

There are fire alarms ringing.

DOCTOR HUGO STRANGE

HE’S ESCAPED! THE JOKER HAS

ESCAPED!

The camera focuses on the Joker Card.

It says stranger things have happened.

In the Background the Joker can be heard laughing.

JOKER

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
