•Develop smarter, more efficient, secure and user-friendly ways of delivering information intelligence

• Supports quality improvement and the review, monitoring & planning of healthcare services.
• Available to healthcare staff based in NHS Boards, CHPs, Hospitals and GP practices.
• Early stage of development – piloted with NHS Lothian and Fife during September 2007.

• Obtains information from NHS Data Warehouse using NHSNet.
• Information presented at high level with facility to “drill down” to review more detailed data
• User access controlled and determined according to role and need to know.
