Provide the necessary labor, tools, material, equipment, permits, tax and supervision to complete the Sitework Package. Hard hats, long pants, shirts with sleeves, and work boots must be worn at all times. No offensive language or logos will be permitted on tradesmen clothing. 3. Provide ground watch and safety barricades as required when performing work near pedestrian areas. Barricades to be fabricated from 2x4’s or other structural member, not simply caution tape. 4. No music radios will be permitted. 5. This contractor will provide clean up of all debris, jobsite and personal trash to dumpsters provided by others. Dumpster location to be determined by P-C. All construction materials to dumpsters are to be recycled and documented. 6. This contractor agrees to provide a “clean up crew” on a weekly basis to perform a clean sweep and trash removal of their entire work area. This contractor will supply 1 person each week for 8 hours while they are onsite to join a composite clean up crew that will be managed by Plano Coudon. 7. Plano Coudon retains the right to enforce the safety rules of the jobsite including maintaining a clean jobsite. This may result in actions such as stopping work and directing trades to clean work areas or supplementing trade workforces to ensure action is taken. Invoicing 8. The work to be performed and materials to be furnished by this Contractor are included in the Contract Documents and /or as specified below.

Provide the necessary labor, tools, material, equipment, permits, tax and supervision to complete the Sitework Package. The work includes but is not necessarily limited to the following:

Specification Sections:Division 1 (General Requirements), Section 311000, 313200, 312319, 312500, 315000, 321723, 331000, 333000, 334000, , and Full Specifications listed in Project Manual.

GENERAL

Safety1. All work must be performed in accordance with OSHA, state, local, university and P-C safety standards.

Provide Plano-Coudon with a copy of MSDS sheets for all materials utilized onsite. MSDS sheets to be submitted with submittals.

2. Hard hats, long pants, shirts with sleeves, and work boots must be worn at all times. No offensive language or logos will be permitted on tradesmen clothing.

3. Provide ground watch and safety barricades as required when performing work near pedestrian areas. Barricades to be fabricated from 2x4’s or other structural member, not simply caution tape.

4. No music radios will be permitted.5. This contractor will provide clean up of all debris, jobsite and personal trash to dumpsters provided by

others. Dumpster location to be determined by P-C. All construction materials to dumpsters are to be recycled and documented.

6. This contractor agrees to provide a “clean up crew” on a weekly basis to perform a clean sweep and trash removal of their entire work area. This contractor will supply 1 person each week for 8 hours while they are onsite to join a composite clean up crew that will be managed by Plano Coudon.

7. Plano Coudon retains the right to enforce the safety rules of the jobsite including maintaining a clean jobsite. This may result in actions such as stopping work and directing trades to clean work areas or supplementing trade workforces to ensure action is taken.

Invoicing8. Subcontractor’s requisitions shall be submitted by the 20th of the month for which the requisition

applies. Work shall be projected through the end of the month. Any Subcontractor requisitions received by Plano-Coudon after the 20th of the month will be deferred until the following month. This language supersedes Article 5 Price and Payment of the Long Form Contract. This subcontractor to also make sure that all monthly MBE payment documents are included with each requisition. Requisitions will not be processed without these documents.

9. This project is subject to prevailing wages. See the wage scale included in the project manual. This contractor is directly responsible for following all applicable state requirements including submission of payroll records both directly to the State and Plano-Coudon. will be tolerated. Offensive language, cat calling, whistling, etc. are reasons for immediate removal from the jobsite.

12. There is enough space for subcontractor parking on site, however, if parking runs out this subcontractor shall make their own accommodations for parking outside the project site.

13. Attend Subcontractor Progress Meetings bi-weekly, or more regular, as determined by Plano- Coudon. Participate in Owner Progress Meeting if deemed necessary. Subcontractor’s personal attending the meeting shall be able to commit to costs and schedule requirements.

14. Coordinate your work with all other trades.15. Keep all roads, driveways, and parking lots free from mud and debris deposited by equipment used in

the execution of your work.16. The use of Plano-Coudon’s office phone will not be permitted.17. Provide all cutting, core drilling and patching required for proper installation of your work. Coordinate

penetrations in advance with other trades.18. Temporary sanitary facilities will be provided for your use. 19. Schedule all deliveries with the Plano-Coudon superintendent forty-eight (48) hours in advance.20. Provide all scaffolding and equipment required for access to your work unless specifically noted in the

Specific Scope.21. If overtime is deemed necessary, all shall be included within this contractors price in order to meet the

project completion date.22. This pricing will include all addendums and bid questions.

Documentation23. Provide submittals as required by the specifications. All product data is to be furnished to Plano-

Coudon within (2) weeks of award. Provide Mock ups as required by the contract documents. Mock-ups that cannot be incorporated into final work shall be demolished and disposed.

24. This project is to be a part of Baltimore City IgCC Green Building Initiative. All necessary submittals for material used to aide in achieving that certification is included.

25. Maintain a set of “As-built” drawings during the course of the project. Provide a final “red-lined” set of drawings to P-C at the end of the project. As-Built drawings to be updated on P-C’s field set every Friday prior to vacating the jobsite for the weekend.

26. Provide a two (2) year written warranty or additional warranty as described by the contract documents for all labor and material used on this project. Warranty begins at date of substantial completion.

27. Each contractor will be required to supply a performance bond.

Accessibility28. P-C Safety Orientation is required for all subcontractor personnel on site. Once completed,

subcontractor will obtain hard hat decal from P-C to be displayed at all times while onsite.29. All scheduling for access to work areas to be coordinated through Plano-Coudon. Provide as much

advance notice as possible when scheduling deliveries and or work activities.30. CUTTING AND WELDING PERMIT for all welding, burning, pipe sweating, or brazing. This permit

must be requested 48 hours prior to the anticipated hot work. Schedule all burning work in advance with P-C’s superintendent. Provide a fire watch as required by OSHA regulations.

Mobilization & Set up1. Includes project supervision and management for the scope of work detailed in this subcontract.2. Includes all required mobilization and demobilization required for the scope of work detailed in this

subcontract. Phasing to be anticipated!! 3. This contractor has reviewed all notes on C101 and will comply. 4. This contractor has read, understands and will aide GC in implementation of Sequence of

Construction as listed on C11.00. This contractor responsible for calling Miss Utility for its work. 5. Install and Maintain construction entrances over the course of the project. See detailed construction

of SCE which included a 6” mountable berm. At time specified by GC, construction entrance is to be removed and disposed of by this contractor and area graded in preparation driveway.

6. Furnish and install all sediment and erosion control measures per construction documents. This includes but is not limited to silt fence, diversion super silt fence, posts, inlet protection throughout the entire LOD as described in the construction documents. Daily inspections reports will be required of this contractor. The reports will be supplied by Plano-Coudon and must be turned over at the end of each shift to the superintendent. Sediment and Erosion control policies will be strictly enforced.

7. Includes tree protection with necessary signage as indicated on the construction documents8. This contractor includes sediment controls outside LOD for its work. 9. This contractor has read, understands and will aide GC in implementation of Sediment and Erosion

Control Notes on C11.04. 10. This contractor will attend kick off meeting with MDE. 11. This contractor has included surveyor for layout and as-built documentation to complete its scope of

work 12. Developers Agreement between A/E and City to be provided to this contractor prior to the start of

work.

Site Clearing13. Demolition of existing buildings and removal of slab is by others. This contractor is responsible for

removing and disposing of all concrete walkways, driveways, plantings, curbs, trees, paving etc. to complete site clearing scope of work outside of previous building footprint. Letters form BGE and/or city can be provided.

14. This contractor has clearing and stockpiling all site topsoil. Topsoil to be stockpiled and covered in a manner capable of being reused at the end of the project. Location for stock pile as specified on construction documents.

15. This contractor to remove all utilities of the extent described on C2.00

16. All backfilling and required compacting to be reviewed and tested by testing and inspections agency supplied by GC. Coordination required.

17. This contractor to take special care as to not damage any existing to remain utilities while doing site demolition.

Site Utilities 18. This contractor includes furnish and install all Storm Drain Piping. This work includes

a. Installation of Storm Drain piping (sizes vary) and structures.b. All excavation, backfill, and required compaction are included in this scope of work.c. Includes bedding material in accordance with contract documents.d. Stub up for connection to gutter system. This contractor has all drain piping up to and

including the downspout boot with Cleanout19. For this contractor’s work, it should open only that section of trench that can be backfilled and

stabilized each day. If trench must remain open, silt fence and fall protection to be supplied and installed by this contractor.

20. Place all excavated material uphill side of trench. 21. Water pumped from foundation and trench excavation shall be directed to a portable sediment tank.

22. This contractor to furnish and install all site drains/inlets/manholes as indicated on the plans. 23. This contractor has supplying all detectable underground utility warning / identification tape as

specified for utilities installed.24. This contractor to layout and mark all saw cut locations for approval by both impacted finishes

trades and Plano Coudon Superintendent prior to cutting. 25. This contractor to install 6” and 8” sanitary piping, manholes and cleanouts as shown on

construction documents. Building plumber to stub 5’ outside of building footprint. Connection to be by plumbing contractor. Any damage done to existing manholes to be repaired by this contractor.

26. Confined space certification will need to be on file with Third Party Safety Inspector. 27. This contractor to install waterline into building. This includes but is not limited to vault, piping off

from meters, and connection to existing w/ required reducer. Building plumber to stub 5’ outside of building footprint. Connection to be by plumbing contractor at building.

28. This contractor to install 6” drain tile, stone and cloth around building. 29. Haul and legally dispose of all spoils offsite. Spoils that remain (if any) should be agreed upon with

GC. 30. This contractor has included all materials required to build micro-bioretention bonds. This includes

stone, pea gravel, observation wells (See 13 on C13.09), inlet, underdrain, etc. Mulch and Plantings by others. Foreman on site will have to confirm layers are installed at appropriate elevations. See As-Built tables.

Paving31. This contractor has cutting, excavating and/or grading site to +/- 2/10 of a foot ready to receive

concrete sidewalks. 32. Furnish and install all flexing paving at parking lot. This includes but is not limited to all cutting,

excavating, grading, base/surface courses, 8” aggregate base, tie in, etc. 33. All curb/gutter and curb openings included here. 34. This contractor has also included all stripping of parking areas and all required parking signage,

wheel stops, etc. as shown on documents.

Building Slab and Tilt Up Wall Foundations/Footings 35. Sequence of Operation: This contractor to perform all site clearing of grasses, trees, shrubs, etc. and

provide backfill to get building to slab on grade elevation. Concrete Contractor to excavate for all building footings (isolated and continuous). Backfill around footings to be by concrete contractor.

36. This contractor has exterior backfilling and compaction against tilt up wall. This contractor to be careful not to damage concrete wall and any waterproofing during backfill.

37. All backfilling and required compacting to be reviewed and tested by testing and inspections agency supplied by GC. Coordination required.

38. Haul and legally dispose of all spoils offsite.

subcontract. 3. Full submittal to be submitted on and approved per contract documents prior to release of material

and eventual mobilization.4. Furnish and install all rebar material for concrete scope of work5. This contractor has read, understands and has included requirements as specified in specification

and as specified on drawing S103 for this particular scope of work.

Concrete Foundation and Slab 6. Furnish and install all concrete footings, piers and associated rebar per construction documents.

Installation includes excavation and interior backfill (at footings only) as required. Spoils to be stockpiles in area specified by GC.

7. Bottom of exterior footing shall be minimum 2’-6” below finished grade. 8. Furnish and install 4000 psi slab on grade including but not limited to; fine grading of sub-grade, 4”

minimum gravel base, vapor barrier, placement of welded wire mesh, place and finish 6” thick concrete slab, concrete curing, fiber mesh expansion joint, thickened edge (where shown), and saw cut at control joints (S101). Concrete truck access will be provided.

9. Per note 5 of S101 control joints layout shown on drawings is conceptual only. This contractor to submit on layout for approval.

10. Entire slab on grade to be installed over 1” rigid insulation. See A103. 11. This contractor shall aide in coordination of stub up and under slab rough in with other trades.

Subcontractor should note how footings should be notched per Q/S301 for utilities boots connecting to rain leaders.

12. All slabs on grade shall have thickenings, depressions, openings, slopes, etc. as shown or required. However, a 6” thickness shall be maintained.

13. Footings and Piers to be 3000psi. Minimum steel protection to be per specifications. 14. This contractor to coordinate with mason on footings and slab joints that support masonry walls.

Layout of footings and slab on grade joints differ depending on size of CMU Walls and whether or not CMU wall is load bearing or non-load bearing.

15. This contractor to coordinate with structural steel contractor on the setting of base plates on concrete piers for future steel column installation. This contractor includes setting anchor bolts and setting/grouting of leveling plates furnished by others as shown on contract drawings.

16. This contractor to coordinate location of connection rebar with mason so that both parties have adequate structural coverage.

17. This contractor has included depressions in slab on grade and additional mobilization that will be needed for these areas where masonry has to be completed first.

18. Protect all exposed rebar dowels with caps as required by OSHA19. Includes stockpile of excess spoils created by this scope of work, as directed by Plano-Coudon

Supervision. Provide estimated quantity.20. If slab on grade is to be used for forming and pouring tilt up concrete walls, this contractor to make

sure that surfaces clean, flat and acceptable for placement of walls per specifications prior to pouring walls. If not, casting beds outside of building slab need to be used.

21. Where slab on grade needs to be stopped short for installation of tilt up walls, this contractor to review and conform to all comments on A104.

Concrete Tilt Up Walls22. Furnish and install all 11” thick insulated tilt up walls at 4000psi and associated rebar per

construction documents. This includes but is not limited to rebar/opening layout per S200-S204, dovetail slots for masonry walls, 2” insulation layer, 1” horizontal relief joints, ¾” vertical panel joints, etc.

23. Crane and/or crawler required to set panels included with this scope.

24. This contractor to furnish and install 1” continuous grout along bottom of entire tilt up wall. At each panel end and midpoint, this contractor to supply and install embed encased in concrete.

25. This contractor to coordinate elevation of joist bearing plates so that joints, deck and roofing is sloped to appropriate side of building.

26. Rebar to 3” clear of concrete wall edge and 2” clear at typical openings.27. Where concrete supports are drilled into slab on grade for support of exterior wall, this contractor to

fill/repair support holes in slab.28. Painting of interior and exterior of concrete walls not included here. Where interior wall of exterior

concrete walls are exposed, this contractor to take extra care so that interior finish of wall is acceptable to A/E.

29. This contractor to provide vertical fluted formliner at walls as shown on A200. Architect to provide sample to match.

30. This contractor to provide formliner paw print at locations shown on A200. Architect to provide impression to match.

8. Provide basis of design acoustical panel ceilings. CLG 2,3. No substitutions. 9. Where required furnish and install metal framing and blocking for storefront elevations. Coordinate

4. No music radios will be permitted. 5. This contractor will provide clean up of all debris, jobsite and personal trash to dumpsters provided by

others. Dumpster location to be determined by P-C. All construction materials to dumpsters are to be recycled and documented.

6. This contractor agrees to provide a “clean up crew” on a weekly basis to perform a clean sweep and trash removal of their entire work area. This contractor will supply 1 person each week for 8 hours while they are onsite to join a composite clean up crew that will be managed by Plano Coudon.

7. Plano Coudon retains the right to enforce the safety rules of the jobsite including maintaining a clean jobsite. This may result in actions such as stopping work and directing trades to clean work areas or supplementing trade workforces to ensure action is taken. Invoicing
