Cloud Chamber Workshop

• Be clear and strict with all (safety) instructions• Use Micro if needed• Leave the room tidied up (if possible, please refill alcohol bottles)• Report all problems/accidents/… to Julia (e.g. bad dry ice, empty

alcohol containers, disturbances, IT problems …)

Exercises

• Prepare the room for a presentation (IT)• Prepare the room for experiments, dark area and bright area (IT)• Prepare wall camera 1 (or 2) and focus the teacher table (IT)• Switch off the system (IT)• Attach an external laptop (IT)• Mute the projector (IT)• Switch on/off the PHYWE cloud chamber (CCW)• Find the torch lights and batteries (CCW) • Find the alcohol• Refill the alcohol bottles• Open the dry ice container (CCW)• …
