Intro

• Great change began in Italy and slowly spread across Europe In the mid 1300s and throughout the 1600s.

• Renaissance studied art and culture from ancient Greece and Rome.

Art and writers

• During the Renaissance, artists painted and sculpted great works of art.

• Writers wrote poems, letters, and even started telling tall tales that we now know today.

Science and Music

• Music was also a big part of the things that inspired the Renaissance. The ochestrators made new songs.

• Some of the discoveries were in science such as astronomy. They also made most of the math principles we have today.

Leonardo da vinci• He studied mostly the

human body and the structure of it. He wanted to know how our muscles function.

• He was apart of an anatomy. He was allowed to cut apart deceased bodies to study the tissues and structure of the bones.

• William Harvey made the discovery that our blood only flows in one direction. This discovery led to the needle and where to put it in your arm to cure a virus or deadly disease.
