Students should come prepared for science lessons with:· A black pen· A green pen· A ruler· A pencil· A scientific calculatorStudents are responsible for keeping this exercise book free from graffiti.Students are responsible for completing all homework set in line with the school policy.Students are responsible for catching up on any missed work.Students will complete a short assessment at the end of each topic.Work in books will be marked regularly. Key pieces of work will be STAR marked.

Science Practical WorkThere is no coursework or controlled assessment in the science GCSE courses. Practical work will be undertaken to help students make sense of the theory. Students are required to complete a number of AQA set practicals for each subject on which questions can be asked in the examinations.
