Sports equipment and facilities

Outdoor gym equipment Exercise stations

With options available for a range of age groups, outdoor gym equipment is a great way to take fitness activities outdoors, providing a dedicated space for use in PE, extracurricular sports clubs and the wider community.

Our new exercise stations are brilliantly suited to creating new physical trails as a fitness zone, or to create additional opportunities for physical activity around a pathway, woodland walk or thoroughfare route.

Case studies

Greet Primary SchoolGreet Primary School wanted to transform a large tarmac space in their grounds into a Multi Use Games Area suitable for PE and active play, as part of a phased plan to introduce sports zones for their pupils. The school opted for timber fencing to keep a natural aesthetic, along with an artificial grass surface, with inlaid white lines.

Playforce have also installed a second phase to this project, complete with bespoke cricket practise area.

The new playground and MUGA at Greet are fabulous, the children all love it!Lorraine Hopkins, Premises Manager

Playforce were asked to design a grand plan to redevelop all of the outdoor spaces for ages 2-18 at King Fahad Academy. As part of this development, Playforce provided new sports facilities, to include a full FA-accredited 3G sports pitch with metal fencing, inlaid court markings and floodlighting as well as running tracks and other sports markings. These new facilities were also designed to allow the school to open up their grounds to other local schools to host sporting and community events.

Having the opportunity to spend more time outdoors has boosted the children’s enthusiasm for exercise. They love the challenge of testing themselves and by providing them with a range of activities, they have been able to develop a range of physical skills at their own pace.” Churchfield Church School
