SCHOOL CLUBS – SUMMER TERM 2018

We are delighted to let you know the online form for choosing clubs for the Summer Term 2018 is now available. If you do not have access to a computer or mobile device please visit our Community Room in school where there are computers especially for your use.

You will receive an email with the password for your child’s year group. If you are using a PC or laptop press Ctrl and Click to follow the link below. Alternatively, if you wish to access the form on a smart phone or tablet, You can also apply via our Website; parents, letters home, general, clubs.

Club Form Your child can choose up to three clubs. This is so that we can offer a club to as many children as possible. Some clubs are shown as Invite e.g Digital Leaders. Your child will have been notified by the club leader if they have been invited or will be continuing with the club from the previous term. This must count as one of their three choices and must be selected on the form. If they have not been invited you can still put this as one of your child’s choices, but their name will then go on the waiting list. Forms must be completed on line by Monday 26th March 2018. Any applications received after this date will not be

considered until all others have been processed.

You and your child will each receive an email in April the week before clubs start to let you know if they have a place. This will give details of where the club will meet, where the children can be collected from and the time the club finishes. All morning club children will be taken to classes in time for registration.

Please note that all clubs will start the week beginning Monday 30th April 2018 and will run until the week ending Friday 13th July 2018, with the exception of all outside agency paid clubs starting Monday 23rd April, Football, Karate and Racket Sports.

Rules:

All children should attend clubs every week unless they are ill. If a child does not attend a club for two weeks, and has not contacted the club leader to explain their absence, their place will be given to another child.

We would like all children to enjoy attending after school clubs and so we expect high standards of behaviour. If a child is badly behaved they will be given a warning. After two warnings they will no longer be allowed to attend the club. Parents will be contacted if this happens.

Most sports clubs will take place outside even if the weather is bad. For this reason children must bring suitable clothing. If the weather is extreme you can find out if the club has been cancelled by phoning the school after 2.00pm or checking emails. Children attending football clubs will not be allowed to participate if they are not wearing shin pads. Football boots are also recommended if the ground is soft.
