What was most important for your school community as you prepared for the 2020-2021 school year?Making a comprehensive plan for health and learning supports for our families and staffConsideration of health and safety in every decision we make - PPE, re-entry planning, workload in summerSupport - people need it more and more often - and needs to be personalized with so many ongoing changes and challengesCommunication - needs to be better and more often without being overwhelmingNot having a supporting SRO meant re-organizing strategies and supports and having less resources available while in a pandemicAnti-racism conversations and education is needed with students, staff, and communityStudent voice - we have to find new and different ways to hear and listen to this all important voice in a time of pandemic
