ScholarshipThe University recognizes that studying postgraduate programs overseas is a major undertaking, both personally and financially and aims to assist outstanding international students with scholarships. Chinese Government Scholarship Program (scholarship quota specified according to inter-governmental agreements)It is established by MOE in accordance with educational exchange agreements or MOUs (memorandum of understanding) signed between Chinese government and governments of other countries, organizations, education institutions and relevant international organizations to provide both full scholarships and partial scholarships. Applicants shall apply to China Scholarship Council (http://www.csc.edu.cn/Laihua/scholarshipen.aspx) for the scholarship through dispatching authorities, institutions or the Chinese diplomatic missions.

Chinese Government Special Scholarship Program (University Postgraduate Program, Cooperative Program with Provinces and Autonomous Regions, Sino-US Cultural Exchange Program Scholarship)It is a full scholarship program set up by MOE aiming to support the key Chinese universities to recruit postgraduate students. Applicants should apply for the scholarship with the recommendations from Fudan University. But the number of the recommended applicants is very limited, and the applicants shall start their studies at Fudan University in September 2014, and not currently studying in China.

Confucius Institute ScholarshipIt is set up by Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban to provide financial aid for international students to proceed to a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL) in Chinese Universities.Applicants should apply to Confucius Institute Headquarters (http://cis.chinese.cn/) for the scholarship through Confucius Institutes (independently set-up Confucius Classrooms), overseas Chinese test centers, educational and cultural offices (sections) of Chinese embassies (consulates).

Shanghai Government Scholarships for International StudentsIt is established by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission to fund distinctive prospective international students to study postgraduate programs at higher educational institutions in Shanghai.Applicants should apply for the scholarship with the recommendations from Fudan University. But the number of the recommended applicants is very limited, and the applicants shall be offered a study place at Fudan University in September 2014.

中国政府国别奖学金（按照政府间协议提供名额）

此项奖学金系中国教育部根据与有关国家政府、机构、

学校以及有关国际组织签订的教育合作与交流协议或

达成的谅解而提供的全额奖学金或部分奖学金。

申请人可通过所在国负责派遣留学生的部门、机构、

学校或中国驻所在国大使馆（总领事馆）推荐，直接

向中国国家留学基金管理委员会（http://www.csc.

edu.cn/Laihua/scholarshipen.aspx）申请。

中国政府专项奖学金（高校研究生项目、支持地方奖学金项目、中美人

文交流项目）

此项奖学金系中国教育部提供的全额奖学金，由中国高水

平大学自主招收外国来华留学的硕士研究生和博士研究生。

申请人须为已经取得复旦大学 2014 年外国留学生研究生

入学资格。此类奖学金仅限于目前未在中国学习的优秀外

国留学生，且名额较少。

奖 学 金

上海市政府奖学金此项奖学金由上海市教育委员会设立，用于资助外

国优秀学生到上海的高等学校接受高等学历教育。

申请人须为已经取得复旦大学 2014 年外国留学生研

究生入学资格。名额较少。

3 4孔子学院奖学金此项奖学金由孔子学院总部 / 国家汉办设立，用于资助外

国学生到中国有关高校攻读汉语国际教育专业硕士学位。

申请者可通过各国孔子学院（独立设置的孔子课堂），有

关海外汉语考试考点，中国驻外使（领）馆教育、文化处（组）

直接向孔子学院总部 (http://cis.chinese.cn/）申请。
