Leads groups are designed for Chamber members to help each other grow their businesses. Three are now meeting through the Bryant Area Chamber of Commerce. Kathy Pannell of Bank of the Ozarks leads the longest running group Lead2Win. They meet at different locations each second Tuesday of the month at 8 a.m. Cindi Vowell of Logan’s runs a group, Bryant Networking and Business Leaders Group, on every other Tuesday. Some meetings are at 8:30 a.m. and others are at 11:30 a.m. Patricia Duncan of iBERIABANK is leading a newly formed group which is having its meetings on the 4th Tuesdays. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 28 at 1 p.m. at U.S. Pizza. Members are to bring “qualified leads” to other leads group participants. The referral will be cleared with the person that is needing the service or products the business offers. “In other words, if a tree fell over a neighbor’s fence I would ask the neighbor if I could give their name and number to the fence business in my leads group before sharing that information,” said Rae Ann Fields, Chamber Director. Only one person per industry represented may be in a leads group, so competitors are not in the groups together.

Guidelines for Bryant Leads Groups1. You must be a member of the Bryant Area Chamber of Commerce to join a Bryant Area Chamber leads group. 2. A potential member must disclose any other Leads Group they are a member of and may not participate in any other leads group of the same like and kind (i.e. that meets twice monthly to share business referrals) in the Bryant Market. 3. Leads are to be qualified. In other words, you will have cleared with the individual you are giving as the referral that they are okay with you sharing their name and contact information with someone who has a product or service they need. 4. Attendance is required. Treat your leads groups like a business appointment. Your leads group depends on you and you will only be excused when there are special circumstances approved by the leader. You may not miss 2 consecutive meetings. 5. You will share information about yourself at a selected time. Please bring business cards each time. But understand that an individual will be featured and only one individual featured each time. 6. Only one person is a leads group member. If you can’t be there and want to send a substitute from your company, that must be cleared with the group leader. And, the lead is accrued to the individual member and only for the individual member to follow up on not for the substitute. 7. The leader will set the time and place of the meetings 8. Information on the transaction – money made, amount sold, etc., -- will remain confidential. However we do want to hear about successful responses on the referrals. 9. A lead is not required for each meeting attendance but highly encouraged. 10. A guest may only attend once. After that they must decide to join the Chamber and the group. You may nominate members before the entire group. If all agree, the person may attend the next meeting. A contact must be made to the Chamber so that the individual can be put on the list for recruiting coordination. The leader should supply the Chamber with a list of their group members the first of each month. 11. Communication will be at the discretion of the leader. Leads groups will be further promoted by the Chamber. 12. Promptness is also important. If you are always late, the leader may ask that you be dropped. 13. Most meeting will last no longer than 1 hour. You are always able to leave after 1 hour even if the meeting goes longer. 14. Your group may grow to whatever size you allow as long as there different fields, occupations represented. In other words, not two bankers, only one; or two auto dealers, only one, etc. A new group may be started if there is enough interest. 15. It will be up to the specific leads group if they will accept a representative from a company that already has another person in another Chamber leads group.
16. You may possibly have an application process. This is up to each leads group.
