MACC Funding Opportunities Gary Halley Pioneer Spirit Scholarship
Award Amount: $3,500
Deadline: March 1
Qualifications: Can be full time or part-time (no less than 6 credit hours) in any discipline. Must have overall GPA of 3.0, submit a short essay discussing how they believe their future plans reflect their pioneer spirit.
To Apply: CSUSA shall be used.
Gary Halley Veterans Scholarship
Award Amount: $3,500
Deadline: March 1
Qualifications: Must be full-time COB undergraduate or graduate student in any discipline. Must have 3.0 GPA, be currently serving in the military, or show proof of honorable discharge, or evidence of being a surviving dependent of a service member who died while on active duty.
To Apply: CSUSA shall be used.
Molly Murray Accounting Scholarship
Award Amount: $3,000
Deadline: March 1
Qualifications: Must be a full-time fifth year accounting student at the COB. Must pursue coursework that enables them to meet the education requirement to sit for the CPA exam, have a 3.0 or better GPA, and show evidence of student leadership activity and volunteer involvement.
To Apply: CSUSA shall be used.
Accounting Department Scholarship
Award Amount: $2,500
Deadline: March 1
About the Award: Scholarship may be renewed if criteria are met.
Qualifications: Must be a full-time COB undergraduate or graduate student. Must have a 3.0 or better GPA, show evidence of student leadership activity and volunteer involvement.

James Abbott Hoeven Jr. and Sr. Memorial Scholarship
Award Amount: $2,000
Deadline: March 1
About the Award: This scholarship is in memory of James Hoeven Jr., who was a graduate student in the College, and James Hoeven, Sr., who was a professor in the College of Business. This scholarship is not renewable
Qualifications: Candidate must be a full-time COB MBA or MS graduate student in any discipline. Must have 3.3 GPA or better at time of application, and demonstrate aptitude and ability to succeed in business.
