Selection to be made by the members of the Mildred Chambers Scholarship Committee. 4. Trustees of the Mildred Chambers Scholarship will be responsible for notifying recipients of their selection. 5. 2010-2011 SJEC awarded 8

scholarships in the amount of $1,500. each to deserving

and qualified students.

1. Must be a high school senior 2. Must have at least a 3.0 grade point average for the 10th and 11th grades. 3. Must attain a minimum test score on the SAT or ACT. Scores used as minimum threshold level. 4. Awards to students enrolling in engineering programs accredited by ABET at the university or college of student’s choice.

1. Following criteria used by SJEC Scholarship Committee for selecting recipients: -Grade Point Average -Supplemental credits -for high school curriculum -Activities -Essay -Financial Need 2. Must submit an official “certified copy” of your transcript with your application. 3. Must intend to earn a degree in engineering and to enter an engineering related field after graduation.
