SCHEDULE OF OPPORTUNITIES
Mission Statement
A Christian Church is a company of regenerate persons, baptized on a profession of
faith in Christ, united in covenant for worship, instruction, the observance of Christian ordinances, and for such service as the gospel requires; recognizing and accepting
Christ as their supreme Lord and Lawgiver, and taking His Word as their only
sufficient rule of faith in all matters of conscience and religion.
The Church of the Redeemer Baptist shall be a place to worship, a place devoted
to community activities and affairs, a place to embrace and enrich the total life of
man spiritually, politically, educationally, socially, morally and economically.
Building Together in Faith To build a house for God and God’s people to worship, fellowship, disciple, educate and serve.
Now set your mind and heart to seek the Lord your God.
Go and build the sanctuary of the Lord God so that the
Ark of the Covenant of the Lord and the holy vessels of God may be brought into a house built for the name of the Lord.

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and through grace gave us
eternal comfort and good hope, comfort your hearts and strengthen them in every good work and
word. 2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17 (NRSV)
SCRIPTURE READING
Psalm 97 1 The LORD is king! Let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad!
2 Clouds and thick darkness are all around him; righteousness and justice are the
foundation of his throne.
3 Fire goes before him, and consumes his adversaries on every side.
4 His lightnings light up the world; the earth sees and trembles.
5 The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.
6 The heavens proclaim his righteousness; and all the peoples behold his glory.
7 All worshippers of images are put to shame, those who make their boast in
worthless idols; all gods bow down before him.
8 Zion hears and is glad, and the towns of Judah rejoice, because of your
judgements, O God.
9 For you, O LORD, are most high over all the earth; you are exalted far above
all gods.
10 The LORD loves those who hate evil; he guards the lives of his faithful; he
rescues them from the hand of the wicked.
11 Light dawns for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.
12 Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous, and give thanks to his holy name!

CONGREGATIONAL HYMN
At The Cross page 79
Stanza 1:
A-las! and did my Sav-ior bleed?
And did my Sov-'reign die?
Would He de-vote that sa-cred head
For such a worm as I?
Chorus :
At the cross, at the cross,
where I first saw the light,
And the bur-den of my heart rolled a-way -
It was there by faith I re-ceived my sight,
And now I am hap-py all the day!
Stanza 2:
Was it for crimes that I have done
He groaned up-on the tree?
A-maz-ing pit-y! grace unknown!
And love be-yond de-gree!
(Chorus)
Stanza 3:
Well might the sun in dark-ness hide
And shut his glo-ries in,
When Christ, the might-y Mak-er, died
For man the crea-ture's sin.
(Chorus)
Stanza 4:
But drops of grief can ne'er re-pay
The debt of love I owe:
Here, Lord, I give my-self a-way -
'Tis all that I can do!
(Chorus)
