System Login

This is the main start up screen.

Navigation:

Double click on this Icon to get the main screen to enter SBMS

User Name: Type the User Id assigned to you. Press Key to go to password.

Password: Type your password. Password is something which should be kept secret.

Press to go to Unit.

Unit: In this press key F9. You will get a small pop up menu as help from which

you can select the required site you want to work in. Press to goinside the system.

Change Password:

Purpose:

As the name specifies this is used to change the password of the login

user. Password is one which should be kept secret and changed periodically. The above

screen pops up when you press Change PasswordTab. You have to input old password

first and type a new password and retype the new password again so as to avoid typing

errors. Press OK to go back to Login Screen.

If you have entered this screen by mistake you can press Cancel to exit the same andcontinue using your old login password.

This is the main screen of the SBMS, which looks like as below and all the modules can

be accesses either by Arrow Keys on Keyboard or by using mouse.

User Preferences

Purpose

As the name tells this module is particularly made for the convenience of user. If few

modules are used very regularly then every time a user has not to trouble himself to go to

that sub module again and again.

How to use

Module name Sub module name Select the module name

Press this button to move this particular sub module to your user preference.

Press this button to move all sub modules names in this column to your user

preference.

Press this button to move this particular user preference back to sub module.

Press this button to move all names in this user preference column back to

respective sub modules

We will illustrate what ever written up by an example.

Suppose we want to put BOL Lithin User Preference then follow as given

Module name Sales BOL Lith Click

New Screen looks like

Like wise rest sub modules can be populated in User Preferences.

Exit System

This module is for exiting system.

Purpose

User can be at any stage of form and can exit the system through this key.

On the Top user will find this symbol of Exit Button. This can be pressed and user

can exit the system.

+ Q :User can press the Control button on keyboard and Q button repeatedly to

switch out of the screen.

User can press this button to move out of the SBMS screen and

Keyboard Help

The keys on the first row of keyboard are called Function Key. Each key plays an

important role. Below are listed function roles.

The keyboard provides a variety of help in using the Forms. Various records and fields

can be accessed with the help of these keys on keyboards. User can use them to navigate

in the form or in the query.

Run Reports

This module is for finding relevant parameters for reports.

Accessibility:

(MODULE ReportsSUB MODULEName of Report As Required)

(ActionDouble Click on As Required)

Purpose

Reports are the output for which basically all the detailed data entry is done. Any report

gives the result as in the desired formats and as designed. Reports are run on certain

parameters which decide the accuracy and viability of report.

User can go into the desired module and run the desired report. We will explain taking an

example suppose SALES.

User can go into Report then Sales Reports now after giving the parameters as stated

below.

User can give From Date and To date or As on Date.

Display Parameter Form: This is a check box option. User can check the same

and list of required parameters specific to each report are shown in the screen.

Now user has to select the desired report by selecting the same by mouse.

User can Run the Report by pressing the Run button corresponding to the

desired Report.

User can select the dates and click the display parameters so that it is specified that what

all parameters are necessary for the correct report.

Now suppose user selects BOL Report with Display Parameter on and presses the

corresponding Run Button of BOL then

A report Background engine starts and a form is displayed in between as above where all

the details of destination, printing criteria are stated.

This screen elaborates what are the major and relevant factors governing the particular

report. These if selected properly can lead to correct and desired report.

Now user can click this button to run the report. The desired report is thus displayed

on the screen which can be printed if required by the user.

Reports in Excel

This module is for getting the report in Excel.

Accessibility:



Purpose


gives the result as in the desired formats and as designed. The basic need of getting the

report in Excel is as excel is a very powerful tool to manipulate the data and use andmodify it according to the user.

option where facility to get excel or not is specified. If user wants to
