AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section68-121-101, relative to inflatable play structures.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 68-121-101, is amended by adding

the following language as a new, appropriately designated subdivision:

( ) "Inflatable play structure" means a structure used for recreational purposes

that is constructed from flexible fabric and that maintains its strength, shape, and stability

by tensioning from internal air pressure;

SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 68-121-101(3)(C), is amended by

adding the following language as a new, appropriately designated subdivision:

( ) Inflatable play structures that are leased;

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring

it.
