Students may compete for merit scholarships valued at $100 per term. There is no entry fee for the competition. As an additional bonus, one art piece from each grade section will be chosen to be made into a collectible button that will be distributed at the end of the session exhibition. Students are invited to submit for competition one piece of art, which must meet the following guidelines:

• The art piece created should contain only original content.• Subject matter is open to the students.(may be a still life, painting, short comic, digital, etc.)• Please use the circle template below, if you wish to submit athree dimensional piece, please attach a photo to yourapplication.• Fill out the competition scholarship form and firmly affix tothe back of the drawing.This form may be copied.

(This form may not be used to register for classes.)

All entrants are encouraged to do their best. Judges will look for students who demonstrate a high level of interest, effort, and creativity. The art piece should include a lot of interesting elements while exhibiting good compositional qualities. Scholarship notifications will be emailed. Please do not submit a registration form with the scholarship art piece. Registration forms received with scholarship entries will be returned.
