The New York City - Southern New York Chapter of the National MS Society invites you and your family to attend the 22nd Annual MS Family Discovery Day on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the fully accessible Hilton Pearl River in Pearl River, NY.

This day-long educational program will provide information and practical help in managing the physical and emotional aspects of living with multiple sclerosis. This program is open to all people living with MS, their families and friends, and medical professionals.

The first topic of the day will be Hot Topics in MS.With new treatments, health care policies, and research on the horizon we know you have many questions to ask on these topics. Join our panelof experts to discuss breaking news and thehottest topics in MS.

The second topic of the day will be Wellness: The Importance of Movement and Exercise while Living with MS. Although most people with MS are aware that exercise is an important part of managing their disease, accessing informa-tion may be challenging. This presentation will teach you how to incorporate this important component into your life.

Following the two main topics, there will be a choice of three concurrent workshops in the afternoon and three programs for children and teens.
