It is a full production gob smacking Bon Jovi experience which will leave you thinking “is it real?”. Careful attention has been undertaken to ensure that even the diehard Bon Jovi fans will not be disappointed.

This show is as close as it gets to the real thing, only travelling back in time could better it. “Satisfaction is guaranteed”. We love Jovi as much as you do! “We’ll rock ya socks off”!

‘Neil Diamond – The Man, The Music’ tells the story of the man himself, from humble beginnings as the son of a shopkeeper through to being a genuine global superstar. The show features numerous interviews and behind the scenes stories of how some of Neil’s most loved songs actually came to be – all presented in Craig Stewart’s distinctly intimate style.

Matthew and Laura are regulars to the club and their night out for dinner with friends at the Commercial Club on Saturday the 3rd of February certainly paid off. They were the lucky winners of $10,000 in our 10 Grand in the Hand raffle after they purchased $20 worth of tickets between them. Matt and Laura are marrying in March and honeymooning in Sri Lanka and currently doing some renovations to their house so the money couldn’t have come at a better time. CAREERS & WELLNESS CONFERENCEJoin us for a free conference developed by Riverina Community College with support from the Department of Defence Family Support Funding Program (FSEP). The conference provides a central gathering place where Defence personnel and their families who reside in the region can come and connect with local service providers including health and wellbeing, employment and training, and family support services as well as workshops and a presentation by key note speaker, Matina Jewell.

During her 15 year military career, best selling author Matina Jewell tracked down war lords, commanded US navy seals, fast roped onto ships and successfully lead a UN peacekeeping mission in Lebanon where she found herself thrown into the middle of a devastating war. Matina's lessons of resilience and leadership have transformed some of the country's biggest companies and her message of courage continues to empower leaders from all walks of life. Her story guarantees a standing ovation at every event.

WAGGA WAGGA GAME SHOW NIGHT EXTRAVAGANZAFundraisers are well underway in preparation for this years Relay for Life to be held on 13th & 14th of October and the Wagga RSL is proud to be the major sponsor of this event yet again. Please support Herbie who is hosting a Game Show Night Extravaganza on Saturday 10th March at the Kildare Catholic College.

Think of all your favourite game shows, friends, entertainment, cash and prizes all packaged into one night of fun for a great cause. This event will be raising funds for Herbie's Wagga Takes 2 Relay for Life campaign. Contestants will be balloted from audience members, so it is all a game of luck. With a prize pool of over $10,000 and one lucky person leaving the night with $5,000 it would be silly to miss this event. Get your friends and family together, and don't miss out on a night of fun and prizes.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAYMarch 8 is International Women's Day and this year, Wagga RSL are celebrating one of our local heroes. Anna Sutcliffe is an ex-Army service woman and a team leader on Trojan's Trek.

Trojan's Trek is a wilderness-based program that supports veterans to improve their mental health.

The unique program takes place in a relaxing bush setting with high impact strategies delivered by veterans who have been through the program and often debilitating complexities of PTSD. Anna was a pioneer in establishing the women's program, which has now supported dozens of female veterans.

In Anna's words, "If I can help one person out, to relieve them of the burdens, hardship and mixed up feelings that I went through alone when I took discharge, then it will be worthwhile!". The program is now offered three times a year for participants from all over Australia.

This year on International Women's Day, we celebrate Anna Sutcliffe, and all the other women who have volunteered their time, knowledge and passion to support our veteran community.

The Central Coast Art Studios Co-operative proudly presents the compelling Australian Spirit exhibition of visual art & poetry commemorating the ANZAC and WW1 Centenaries and our returned service personnel.

Dr Brendan Nelson, Australian War Memorial Director , has congratulated the Co-operative on an ‘excellent initiative’ and ‘heartily’ commends it to new supporters. The Australian Spirit concept was conceived by Leasha Craig , accomplished artist, Art Studios Co-operative Co-founder and 2018 winner of the (Central Coast) Australia Day Community Service and Activity Award.

“Our objective is to raise public awareness and support for the service and sacrifice of returned service personnel & their families,” explains Leasha, “and inspire artists and poets across Australia to emulate this concept in support of their local veterans.”

The four-year project commenced in 2015, incorporating successful exhibitions across the Central Coast with visual arts include paintings, drawings, mixed media, photography, digital works and sculpture. It has an accompanying book that showcases the diverse art, poetry, and also brief biographies of the 76 local veterans whose stories inspired these creations.

“These living stories need to be told,” says Leasha. “They form part of the fabric that binds our community and the exhibition with art and poetry really brings them alive in a way that history books and classrooms are unable to do. Participating veterans are deeply grateful for the empowering, healing experience.”

Launch from 5.30pm -7pm Wednesday 11th April Guest Speaker: Hon Michael McCormack Minister for Veteran Affairs’, Minister for Defence Personnel, Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Centenary of ANZAC.

Australian Spirit is fuelled by an outstanding team of volunteers including committee members, veterans, artists, poets and photographers, with the full support of local RSL Sub-Branches, Vietnam Veterans Peacekeepers and Peacemakers Association, associated clubs and the community.
