All the parents/ Guardians are requested to abide by the following rules and regulations in the interest of their son/ daughter/ wards
VISITS
In order to help the new students to adjust themselves in the new environment, parents and guardians are requested not to visit the students till one month after their admission.
The parents are normally allowed to visit on the last Sunday of the month between 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm (PARENTS CHILDREN MEETING ). In no case parents should go directly
to the students, Parents are requested not to meet their wards in their dormitories or study room. They should meet them in the reception Hall / Lounge only after meeting the
House Wardens. No relatives, friends or guardians are allowed to see the students unless they bring an introductory letter with a photograph from the legal guardian. Parents are
not expected to visit the child during the school hours, However they can be seated in the lounge or Visitor's room to meet the subject teachers. Students are not permitted to
meet the staff in their quarters
LEAVE REGULATIONS
Students are not allowed to go home during the school term. Local Guardians are not permitted to keep the child overnight. They can meet the child on last Sunday of the month
from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm, Students can be allowed a maximum leave of three days for the wedding of a real brother or real sister. This leave will not be during examination days
and during a camp or an important activity. No cousin, Uncle or aunts wedding should be entertained. Leave may be granted for some particular treatment of the students
provided the medical officer of the school recommends it. In certain cases leave may be allowed for mourning or illness of a family member but parents should see that they apply
for such leave only when it is absolutely necessary. For all leaves, request should be made to the Principal. No leave will be granted on the student’s request. No leave will be
granted on a request through a telegram/ fax /e-mail unless there is something very urgent. The fax should be printed and not hand written, Parents should not extend the date
and the time when the students are to return after leave otherwise marks in the internal assessment would be deducted and a fine shall be levied. If child is detained due to illness
application for leave should be accompanied with medical certificate, Fine in all cases is applicable if school rules are not followed. No leave during Tours and Treks as they are a
part of curriculum and will carry 25 marks"Creative Test "
HOSTEL RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR BOYS AND GIRLS
For ordinary aliments parents are not informed. If a student is admitted to the hospital, a communication is sent to the Guardian /Parents. Students are expected to write atleast
one letter a week to their parents. This improves "Vocabulary Skill" and expression which builds confidence in the child. Students are not allowed to keep cash with them and no
money is to be given or sent to the child. Parents should not send money order, birthday money, cheque, draft or any kind of gift for any reason. It is against school rules. Money
found with the boys/girls will be confiscated, Test outing will be given initially. No private clothes of the boys/Girls should be sent with the school kit. Parents and guardians are
requested not to call the students over the telephone. If there is anything urgent, the call should be made to the school Office, Warden or house parents . Call can be made from
4.00 pm to 5.30 pm (STD No 0129) The telephone number of school is 0129-2202446 (only School time) For Hostel (0129-2202820.812.819,821,822 Ext no Dharam House-

the school immediately in a separate letter marked "change of address"In bold.
RULES AND REGULATIONS (2014-15)
MOBILE PHONES ARE STRICTLY BANNED
Parents are advised to emphasize their wards the need to observe all rules and regulations. Violation of the school rules and indiscipline may result in withdrawal of the student
from school and also fined to that extent. Students must be honest during examination. Students using unfair means will be given a zero. Ipod, MP3,Credit Cards are not
allowed. Any objectionable viewing or video parlors, acts of misconduct, ragging ,leaving school without permission is strictly prohibited for students .Students violating these
rules will not be allowed to continue their studies in the school. Student can only be accepted at school if he has a smart hair cut.
SCHOOL EMPLOYEE CANNOT BE LOCAL GUARDIANS
Only a parent can ask for leave. Application should be addressed to the Principal mentioning adm no and name of the House. All travel arrangements should be specified and
addressed to the Principal In case escort is sent, due authority letter with the attested signature and photograph by the parents must be sent along with the escort. Nobody would
be allowed to go on "self escort" The Principal has the right to ask the parents and guardian to withdraw his ward from the school and hostel for misconduct, disregard to school
rules which have already been made known to them or else for continued poor academic performance
A statement of undertaking would be sent signed by parents and their wards. No birthday celebration with outside eatables is allowed, It would be done in accordance with the
school rules Parents may meet Principal taking permission in writing on a stipulated time( i.e Last Sunday) of the month between 2.00 to 6.00 pm. All boys/Girls should respect
the school uniform and the sanctity of the school. Sunday meals are to be followed by a Dress code. EMERGENCY ADDRESS AND CONTACT NO MUST BE GIVEN BY ALL
PARENTS Security of the child is most important, No vehicles would be allowed inside the campus, Parents should sit in the conference with teachers to check the child's
progress on the last Sunday visit.
FOOD PARCELS
Parcels containing eatables are not allowed. Expensive parties to celebrate birthday are not allowed. On hearing from parents, school will sanction amount from personal
accounts, for cake and sweets for small party in the house in the presence of warden/House Parent. The arrangement for this will be made by the warden concerned.
VALUABLES
Electronic items like Record player, Cell Phones, Cassette Player. Costly articles ( Gold ring/Chain/other ornaments) are not allowed in possession of any boarder, In case of
loss of any valuables or other articles, the school shall not be held responsible.
MONETARY AND OTHER TRANSACTIONS
Nobody is permitted to buy or sell or exchange goods or lend or borrow money. Anyone found defying this rule shall be dealt strictly.
Few Students alter trousers or skirts provided by the School store. Students returning with such trousers or skirts will be given a new pair and actual amount will be charged from
them.

General
1) The assessment of students in terms of grade in scholastic and co-scholastic are is to be done as per the direction issued by C.B.S.E board under C.C.E pattern.25% marks are compulsory for promtion in class IX in S.A-I and S.A-II
2) The scholastic area of six main subject three languages ( English,Hindi and Sanskrit), . The nine points and their equivalent performance scale in raw score will be as under. The year end subject wise grade of the students in the class are to be calculated on the basis of performance in four Formative Assessments and two Summative Assessments for the scholastic area
